I was in my backyard today trying to get used to a new lens by shooting some birds that like to visit our feeder, when I saw a flash of orange that at first I thought was a blowing leaf. I saw it move again on the ground in a familiar way and I thought, no it can't be?
Could it?
Not in February?
OK, I have to find out?
There's more to this guys name than just the marking on his wing.
This photo shows the beautifully camouflaged underside, with the "question mark" visible on the hindwing. Another related species, the Comma, has a silver comma, with no dot below it. I know--I have this species already and this is only a so-so shot, but I got so few today, and he was such a nice specimen that he's here anyway.

An image I did for a blog post.
I've been away from flickr for foevaa! I had this idea for a while, but never got around to doing it. I put the glitter question mark on an old tank top the night before and I'm really glad with the way it turned out. I'm sure if I were to actually wear it though, I'd leave glitter trails everywhere I went. -__- Hahah. Hope you like it!
I bought this wine at Trader Joe's because, well, because it is just a question mark. It's from Oreana Winery in California, and according to the back of the label, the winemaker accidentally mixed two tanks of wine that were intended to be bottled separately. One was a cabernet sauvignon and the other was a syrah.
The unintentional blend created an interesting taste, a little unusual, but I liked it. And it was only $6. I'll be buying more of it.
I was given the project of designing some kind of image which creates a sense of the letter i was given. I was given the question mark and decide to make some kind of sculpture using only question marks which depicts the uncertainty/mystery surrounding the character itself. I was happy with my final outcome.

Looks like it's already been pushed over. This was also taken at a time when it had been daubed with green paint.

no idea what this sign means. I have looked it up and that wasn't much help either. Next time we head out this way, we are going to go find out what questions lie beyond the sign.

So many questions that I don't have answers to.
What songs are we going to do? Who is going to play? What about this one? What about this one? Can I ___ ? What's my motivation? What's your motivation? Does this bother me? If it does, why? Should it bother me? Do I have time to do this? How important are my Saturday evenings? Do you really need the money? What are you doing here? When are you coming home? What do I need to stop doing? What am I doing?
I took a nap when I got home from work today to restart my brain. 'Cause it crashed ... apparently my brain is a PC. Crap.
