More for the article on MH design and branding.
Reviewing the outfits and what they could have done.
I personally have been questioning MH clothing design team a lot. For a while I thought it had to do with budget. But seeing the last 2/3 lines they released they did some pretty big outfits.
But they are stars at doing old fashioned things, stereo type clothes and bad fabric choices.. especially on the fairy tale lines.. poor snowbite.
Don't get me wrong, they have been doing new things that I like a lot. Pencil skirts and skinny jeans. Now just the right prints and nice shirts.
I think they need to think about what parents would like their children to wear now when they are 15/16 and not what
was fun and worked in 90's teen movies and tv shows.
And then take fashionable parents...because they are fashion dolls after all.
Before you wonder if they can make things like this in mh size..
look here www.clear-lan.com/clothes/momokoindex.asp?db=momoko
Momoko dolls are maybe bigger shoulder wise.. but they are no bigger then mh..
their hip size is pretty much the same.

Messed up on the drop shadow. This is a self portrait of me at beaver lake Arkansas. there were a LOT more stars than it looks.
Always entertaining to ask the dog questions, because she's so cute when she tilts her head to listen.
On January 20, 2009, while driving my two kids, Jenna and Jaiden, home from their grandmother’s house, I engaged them in my usual questioning period. I asked Jaiden, “What did you do in school today?”
Before he was able to answer, Jenna chimed in, “I know, I know!” Then with an almost rhetorical tone to her voice she said, “Barack Obama is our 44th president.”
I was very much surprised to hear these words come from my six-year-old daughter. She went on to say, “We watched the... in… “
“Inauguration,” I offered.
“Yes, ‘inauguration,’” she said. Then she repeated, “We watched it today in school. Barack Obama is the 44th president.”
That brought a smile to my face and sent me thinking about the spanning importance of this day. I had watched the core of the inauguration proceedings from just after 11:00 am till about 12:30 pm. It was shown on all the network channels and I’m sure it was on all the news channels too. The day before I had noticed that the TV schedule had the inauguration programming from 9:00 am till sometime in the late afternoon; I scheduled my digital recorder to record it all, although I saw the only part I really wanted to see live.
Much of the broadcasts were devoted to getting peoples’ reactions to having our first African American president. Some announced that they had never dreamed that they would see such a thing in their lifetime. A half a dozen decades ago, a man who looked like our current president might have had a hard time getting food from certain restaurants and a drink from certain fountains.
While I was cooking dinner the kids were watching TV and coloring. Once again Jenna surprised me. She had stopped her coloring for a moment and leaned over the back of the couch to speak to me in the kitchen. “Daddy, you kind of look like Barack Obama.” She looked at me, tilting her head to the side pensively.
Now, I don’t think I look much like President Obama. However, it still caused me to think of all the presidents, there are none that I look more like than Obama. Being African American, I have at times been almost insulted when people compare me to other African Americans by saying we looked alike. Often times it seems that the similarity comes from unfamiliarity with our features. But this was different. When looking at the 43 other Presidents of the United States, all were light skinned Caucasian, and mostly old.
I started thinking more and more of how he represents a part of the United States that have never been represented in this way before. Kids in other schools all over the country tuned in to this presidential inauguration. I wonder how many of them, for the first time, saw a president that looks similar to their fathers.

The lengend of the raindrop has a lesson for us all
As it trembled in the heavens, questioning whether it should fall--
For the glistening raindrop argued To the genie of the sky,
"I am beautiful and lovely as I sparkle here on high,
And hanging here I will become part of the rainbow's hue
And I"ll shimmer like a diamond for all the world to view."
But the genie told the raindrop, "Do not hesitate to go,
For you will be more beautiful If you fall to earth below.
For you will sink into the soil And be lost a while from sight.
But when you reappear on earth, you'll be looked on with delight:
For you will be the raindrop that quenched the thirsty ground
And helped the lovely flowers to blossom all around,
And in your resurrection you'll appear in queenly clothes
With the beauty of the lily and the fragrance of the rose;
Then when you wilt and wither, You'll become part of the earth
And make the soil more fertile, and give new flowers birth."
For there is nothing ever lost Or eternally neglected;
For everything God ever made, is always resurrected;
So trust God's all-wise wisdom and doubt the Father never,
For in His heavenly Kingdom There is nothing lost forever.

Michael T. Klare the American Professor of Peace and World Security Studies has published an article on TomDispatch questioning if Barack Obama is morphing into Dick Cheney, highlighting four ways he is pursuing Cheney’s geopolitics of global energy. In the article Klare states “As details of his administration’s global war against terrorists, insurgents, and hostile warlords have become more widely known -- a war that involves a mélange of drone attacks, covert operations, and presidentially selected assassinations -- President Obama has been compared to President George W. Bush in his appetite for military action. …When it comes to international energy politics, however, it is not Bush but his vice president, Dick Cheney, who has been providing the role model for the president. …it is possible to reconstruct the geopolitical blueprint that Cheney followed …a blueprint that President Obama, eerily enough, now appears to be implementing, despite the many risks involved.1. Promote domestic oil and gas production at any cost to reduce America’s dependence on unfriendly foreign suppliers... 2. Keep control over the oil flow from the Persian Gulf … in order to retain an “economic stranglehold” over other major oil importers. 3. Dominate the sea lanes of Asia, so as to control the flow of oil and other raw materials to America’s potential economic rivals, China and Japan. 4. Promote energy “diversification” in Europe, especially through increased reliance on oil and natural gas supplies from the former Soviet republics of the Caspian Sea basin… This four-part geopolitical blueprint, relentlessly pursued by Cheney while vice president, is now being implemented in every respect by President Obama.” Inspired by Tom Dispatch ow.ly/cf7Nz image source Twitter ow.ly/cf7MZ

Monday wash day!
Questioning the status of ordinary washing places, Caroline Jacob has shifted the usual location of the laundrette and will transform Mediamatic into a laundrette to present wASH. Preserving the social aspect of the laundrette, Monday Washday Laundrette is an opportunity to gather, try out wASH, as well as tell the stories emerging its creation. As an homage to the heirloom custom and the recipe embodied in the laundry detergent, visitors will be invited to wash their laundry in the space. The laundrette will open its doors every Monday and will be available for free use all day long. Visitors might become performers, clothes gesticulated, machines resonated.

Anyone questioning the collective intelligence of a flock of independent living organism needs to watch a flock of thousands of birds rise and land and move through the landscape like some tornado of flight.
Have been questioning my resolve to carry on with this project lately. But then, you find inspiration in the most mundane of subjects, at the oddest hours of the day.
Running out the door this morning, throwing my lunch together in the kitchen, these soap/lotion bottles by the sink caught my eye, and suddenly, I just had to take a photo. This is the result.
Besides, I've been dying find an excuse to use one of Boccacino's beautiful ecrit textures. Merci beaucoup! :)

In addition to my time questioning Secretary Sally Jewell on NMI funding in the FY17 Interior Department budget, as Vice Ranking Member of the Natural Resources Committee I also have an extra five minutes to make broader policy statements. I used the extra time make the case for Committee action on my bill, H.R. 4531, which extends the Compact of Free Association with Palau. As the only Micronesian in the U.S. Congress, I feel a responsibility to be a voice for all Micronesians.

Keep your heart pure, don't clutter it with a book-keeping of lies.
Keep your love, as tender and sweet as these petals...
Lead and enjoy a good life, do and say things that enrich... and do not forget to tell the people close to you, how much you love them!

Scout and I headed out to climb Mt Tom today. I hadn't been to the summit in years. It was a gorgeous day and there was very little snow on the mountain, but it was cold and there were icy places along the way. We gained about 750 feet of elevation along the way and my knees kept asking me if I was nuts!
