É nele que se encontram os dispositivos de proteção como por exemplo, disjuntor, DPS e DR. Pensando na importância do quadro de distribuição e a dificuldade e duvidas relacionadas ao QDC, preparamos este artigo, explicando detalhadamente como montar um quadro de distribuição residencial, vamos lá pessoal! O que é quadro de distribuição? O quadro de distribuição é obrigatório em todas as instalações elétricas, pois é onde se localiza os dispositivos de proteção de uma instalação elétrica residencial, industrial, comercial etc. O quadro de distribuição é responsável por armazenar, proteger os dispositivos de proteção e faz a distribuição de todos os circuitos da instalação. Podemos destacar que o quadro de distribuição também é conhecido por muitas pessoas como quadro geral, quadro de disjuntor e QDC (quadro de distribuição de circuitos). O quadro de distribuição pode ser encontrado em PVC ou metálico, nas residências o mais comum é em PVC, por ser mais barato. O QDC de ferro é mais usado em indústria e na montagem de comandos, tanto o quadro de distribuição de PVC quanto o metálico são encontrados de embutir e sobrepor. O que são dispositivos de proteção? Os dispositivos de proteção são responsáveis por proteger sua residência de eventuais problemas como por exemplo, fuga de corrente elétrica, curto circuito e sobretensões. Os dispositivos responsáveis por essa proteção são disjuntor, DR (diferencial residual) e DPS (dispositivos de proteção contra surtos), são os principais componentes de um quadro de distribuição. Os principais componentes de um quadro de distribuição são barramentos de neutro e aterramento, trilho tipo DIN, disjuntor, DR (diferencial residual) e DPS (dispositivos de proteção contra surtos). Existem outros componentes como por exemplo, contator, relé, multimedidor entre outros, mas que não são muito usados em residências. Disjuntores Os disjuntores são dispositivos que protegem contra curto circuito ou sobrecarga, sendo fundamental para evitar acidentes e até mesmo incêndios. Existem diferentes modelos de disjuntores como por exemplo, DIN e NEMA, podendo eles serem monopolar, bipolar ou tripolar. DR (diferencial residual) O DR é responsável por proteger contra fuga de corrente elétrica, sendo assim protege contra choques elétricos. Existem dois tipos de DR, que são os IDR (interruptor diferencial residual) e DDR (disjuntor diferencial residual). Os DR também possuir curvas B, C e D, e diversos modelos como por exemplo, bipolar, tripolar e tetrapolar. DPS (dispositivos de proteção contra surtos) O DPS é um dispositivo de proteção contra surtos elétricos, importante para proteger os equipamentos elétricos e eletrônicos. Os surtos elétricos acontecem por causa das descargas atmosféricas que atingem redes elétricas e anomalias na rede elétrica, como por exemplo acionamento de grandes motores. Trilho tipo din e barramentos de neutro e aterramento O Trilho tipo DIN é utilizado para fixar os dispositivos de proteção. Os barramentos de neutro e aterramento são forma mais segura e organizada para distribuição de condutor elétrico e interligarem todos os condutores em um único ponto, assim facilitando manutenções futuras e garantir que todos os condutores estejam bem fixados.

As Bear and I approached the end of our hike, perched high on boulders beside the trail were several volunteers greeting visitors to the park.
