Un poverello dona quel poco che ha, lo condivide con chi come lui non ha niente...
Basta poco per donare un sorriso: un pò di pane caldo, un pò d'acqua sono per noi cose quotidiane e quasi scontate, ma non per chi non ha niente che li considera beni preziosissimi.
Un piccolo messaggio che ci invita a guardarci dentro e intorno a noi, un piccolo messaggio per ritrovare i veri valori e capire che ciò che abbiamo non è scontato e dobbiamo dire "grazie" ogni giorno per quel pane che abbiamo ogni giorno sulla nostra tavola...

These people have climbed a narrow circular stone stairway up to the top of Blarney castle looking for the "the gift of the gab". Blarney is something more than mere flattery. It is flattery sweetened by humour and flavoured by wit. Mix with Irish folk and you will find many examples of Blarney in their everyday experience because in truth the Irish are "full of it" haha.
To kiss the Blarney Stone is not casually achieved. To touch the stone with one's lips, the participant must ascend to the castle's peak, then lean over backwards on the parapet's edge. This is traditionally achieved with the help of an assistant. Although the parapet is now fitted with wrought-iron guide rails and protective crossbars, the ritual can still trigger attacks of acrophobia. Being Irish I am indeed "full of it" and I'm terrified of heights. It's always fun to visit Blarney. ^_^
Hello everybody, After my 1st disappointing run of PlayStation Now, I finally got a better run with better games like Toy Story Mania, and Ratchet & Clank, etc.

As of today there is very little snow on the lower parts of Alberta's Rocky Mountains, due to little precipitation and a recent heat wave. But the higher reaches, where WE like to hang out, does have a bit more. This is our first venture onto this lovely ridge. The photos from the top mention snow cornices. Those are snow formations created by wind blowing snow over the edge of a cliff. The snow packs and hardens into a curl suspended over the edge, but it can let loose at any moment. They are highly dangerous to step on or stand below. The worst danger is that sometimes you can't really tell if you're standing on one until it's too late, so we are extremely careful around them...
Today's outing was a short walk, only around 5 km's return, but it was just over 700 m's of elevation gain, VERY steep going. It took us 3.5 hours.

Independent app developers gather on May 4-5, 2013, for an intensive weekend-long collaboration/competition to develop apps for MTA customers. It is the first “hackathon” to be officially sanctioned by the MTA.
In this photo, the team behind SubCulture .FM, which was awarded the Grand Prize, presented their concept to a panel of judges.
Winners will go on to compete this summer in 2013 App Quest, a global apps challenge being sponsored by Polytechnic Institute of New York University (NYU-Poly) and AT&T, cosponsored by the MTA, and powered by ChallengePost. The challenge seeks to encourage the creation of apps that will help improve MTA riders’ commutes using real time information and other innovations.

The Hidden Valley Quest was developed in partnership with Humboldt County Office of Education for elementary age children. It is a 2 mile loop trail that passes through forests and valley meadows, provides ocean views, and a historic apple orchard. Kids that complete the quest can earn at patch. Quest brochures can be picked up at the King Range Project Office.
The quest is part of a great quest program that we partnered with Humboldt County Office of Education and there's two more in Shelter Cove. Brochures for all quests and website details can be found here:

The quest continues to create long exposure multiple image panoramic. Stitching 2 images together to create a 3:1 panoramic. The lack of clouds was a big plus because that's what creates all the problems in the stitch. I used Photoshop to alight and merge the images into one. My favorite pano software Autopano Giga 2 did not do well with these images.
I guess you can call this my Miami Vice stage with the pastel colors cira 1980’s…

This was our 1st Supreme Quest, and a fine RV was too. That combined with the Land Rover Discovery was in my view one of the finest rigs we have ever had. I was on my way home from north Queensland, this shot was taken near Warwick Qld which at the time was in serious drought. Everything was tinder dry.

Un mondo in cui le persone non erano considerate solo come sudditi o consumatori,ma come individui,con le loro aspirazioni,le loro necessità,i loro affetti.
Poi "fortunatamente" la sveglia ha iniziato a suonare : (
