It was good fun rocking this wall in Waikiki: BOMB SQUAD KILLS THE SYSTEM. What I like bout this wall is it symbolically and literally unites my Hawaii graff crew BOMB SQUAD with my LA crew K2S. It might not mean shit to u but means a lot to me. Thanx to eribody who came out the past few days to chill and to help out. Big ups to the 808 Urban boys for helping me smash this one. It was dope to have Quest and big Def come rock pieces on the wall as well.
Today was the start of the Yukon Quest race here in Fairbanks. The race is usually from Fairbanks to Whitehorse, about 1100 miles. However, with covid, the border has been closed causing the race to be shorter and all in Alaska.
This musher is wearing the bib bought by Companions, a group my wife is a member of. They train and qualify dogs to be taken to the hospital, the mental health facility, the retirement home and then to the university library library all for stress relief. Unfortunately, the leader of the groups husband died a couple of months ago due to complications from Covid.

La mia prima volta sulle dolomiti, qui il mio amore per la montagna si è espresso in tutte le sue forme. Sarà la prima volta di tante, mi sento fortunato a vivere a poche ore di macchina da queste meraviglie.

Una decina di anni fà mia moglie mi chiama dalla stanza dove stavano trasmettendo “bravo bravissimo” un programma condotto da Mike Bongiorno e così resto letteralmente a bocca aperta ascoltando per la prima volta un middle di standard interpretato da un Francesco Cafiso ancora bambino, recentemente ho avuto la fortuna di conoscerlo personalmente e di fotografarlo, la cosa che mi colpisce, oltre il talento, è che quando sale sul palco con il suo sax avviene come una metamorfosi ed escono note piene di forza ed energia creativa.
In questa immagine ho cercato di incidere sul sensore della mia reflex questa sua forza giocando con lo zoom in ripresa!

Brainard Lake Recreational Area
Gorgeous day, but the road to the lakes was still closed due to snow. We wanted to be just beyond all the trees, at the foot of those fabulous peaks! There are two pretty awesome lakes there, and I am determined to show them to you!

I had thought we had found a nice private spot to watch the Quest, but at 10:50, people started flocking in. It was great though!! It was Mom's first time watching it, so that was pretty cool. :)
Anyways, the Yukon Quest is a 1,000 mile dog sled race that goes from Whitehorse YT to Fairbanks AK. This photo is of Cody Strathe, a rookie musher from Fairbanks AK.
