A stich panorama showing the view over the Severn from the Welsh Bridge. From left to right you can see Theatre Severn, the boat yard, the Frankwell foot bridge, a glimpse of Shrewsbury Castle, and finally the Quantum Leap "piece of art" celebrating Charles Darwin on the opposite bank to the Theatre.
I was disappointed that I couldn't finish. I mean, I only left a few bites behind (actually, that's a lot more than a few as by the end I was taking weeny bites). The first time I went to Quantum Leap, I ordered the strawberry stack and easily finished it. Lately I've felt like my appetite has waned, although that hasn't stopped me from eating. Hm. My friend Karen got pancakes too but couldn't finish em either; we overestimated our capacity to pancake ourselves.
This reboot/sequel series to the 1989-1993 show features a diverse and charming ensemble of characters (and actors) who assist Dr Ben Song and guide/fiancée Addison during his leaps through time.

I am happy with the way these turned out, as it was a night walk around Shrewsbury (last minute decision) and I had forgotten my tripod, so these are handheld captures.
My friend Carol got this and said it was really good. I was a little perplexed since the bananas and pecans aren't apparent, but I guess they're hidden in there.

Decided to have a proper look from the theatre side of the Severn, managed to spot this little beauty.

One of THEE best Halloween episodes ever. Quantum Leap, "The Boogieman" (1990).
Sam leaps into the body of a gothic horror novelist on Halloween, 1964. Everything about this episode is awesome. The haunted house setting, the decorations, the story, LOADS of Stephen King references, including Kujo, Carrie, even the car from Christine. I won't give away anymore for those who haven't seen it.
This is in my top favorite Halloween episodes ever, from a series you wouldn't think would even have a Halloween episode. I own this, but the entire series is on Netflix in beautiful HD. Do yourself a favor and put it on today, I guarantee you'll love it.

Latest pictures (November 2009) of the Quantum Leap sculpture by Pearce and Lal on the side of the River Severn in Shrewsbury. Now that the trees have lost their leaves, this is remarkably like the artist's impression see www.bbc.co.uk/shropshire/content/articles/2009/06/10/shif...
