Alviso, a small town in the San Francisco Bay Area, is always fun to visit. It's only 20 min from home and workplace, so I like to go there once in a while for sunset. I took this shot on a clear day. I wish there would be more days with clouds or rain.
Do you recognize the title?
I processed a balanced and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, merged them selectively, and carefully adjusted the curves and color balance. I welcome and appreciate your critical feedback.

Time.....quality time. My hope is to fill 2013 with more quality time with my kiddos, my husband and my friends. This image was taken while spending time with my daughter this week. After days of rain, the sun made an appearance so we rushed off for an adventure. We stumbled onto a new trail and found ourselves on the beach. As time passes this coming year, I'm excited to have Project 52 to root me in the present moment, to challenge me, and I can't wait to look back on each precious memory. Happy New Year! :)
Instead of my normal landscapes, I thought I'd do something a little different and shoot some pics of a few of the unusual places in and around Charlottesville. For those of you familiar with Charlottesville, Quality Pie now occupies the building where Spudnuts was housed for many years.
Landscapes are special to me because they represent the striving for the ideal. The longing to roam in a a world of beauty and sophisticated balance. Last night I dreamed of a landscape quite different form this. I don't know what it was, some insanely beautiful combination of Scottish Highlands, New Zealand and Norway. Alpine meadows and streams running over the land. You could hike anywhere in this world and see divine vistas. Life in such places is completely free and there are no consequences that last beyond morning's bleary eyed awakening. Dreams will forever amaze me

There was an outdoor night portrait activity , we invited the natural quality girl紫嫣 to go to Taipei east center street to take Christmas picture , 紫嫣 got pretty face , eyes ,nice figure with great breast , small waist , round hip and white skin , when she wore a Christmas dress at Christmas street to show her personal style of pose , she is so charming and gorgeous ,thank紫嫣 ,she did her best model job
This is by far one of my favorite photos in my entire portfolio an no surprise it contains my favorite design principles figure to ground and color interaction. My goal in this photo was to capture both the reflection, my friend, and the stunning sunset. Out of the hundred something photos I took that night this one was my favorite and the most challenging part was editing out a few obnoxious holes and shells in the ground.

This is my first quality, and it’s definitely color interaction for the design principle. I could’ve made it proportion, but there was no one that was next to the Hobbit hole. I thought it would be great to have the yellow of the door and other colors of nature interact. The warm tones make this a very pleasing image and easy on the eyes. The crispness of the picture makes it a great quality image for me to have selected.

Note the white 'Angel's wings' near the head of the ladybird. Harlequin ladybirds never have these two white markings. This is a native 7-spot ladybird.

The beautiful Sydney Opera House on a peaceful night and a gorgeous glowing moon with Venus slightly under to the right. The lights upon the Opera House and the bright moon have given a beautiful glow to the harbor and a lovely blue hue to the sky and the water with the moon and light reflections illuminating the harbor.
The Sydney Opera House was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site on 28 June 2007. It is one of the 20th century's most distinctive buildings and one of the most famous performing arts centers in the world.
The Sydney Opera House is on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour, close to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It sits at the north-eastern tip of the Sydney central business district (the CBD), surrounded on three sides by the harbour (Sydney Cove and Farm Cove) and inland by the Royal Botanic Gardens.
