It seems like the Color-Solagon enlarging lenses are almost completely unknown, even among people very familiar with a wide range of enlarging lenses.
Thanks to a couple of helpful people here, as well as the wonderful help of the FOMU - Fotomuseum Antwerpen and its library, I was able to confirm that the Color-Solagon features a 6 elements in 4 groups plasmat design (similar to most of the Componon-S lenses from Schneider Kreuznach), but the only real source I‘ve seen is on the "Color Solagon II 60 mm", which was apparently sold with some of the Varioscop 35/44 enlargers! I wasn‘t able to find a single document on the 70, 80 or 90 mm variants unfortunately, but I‘d guess they were made for a different purpose - either for one of Agfa’s Minilab or some industrial application.
I was able to find some of the Color-Solagon lenses, but unfortunately most of them are in pretty bad shape with either haze, fungus or some mechanical damage, so it‘s impossible to judge the quality in their original state.
The "Color-Solagon DII 90 mm F 4.5" shown here is not mentioned anywhere on the internet as far as I could find at least... I think it might be very similar to the 80 mm variant though.
If you know more about it, or someone who could, I‘d really appreciate any help!

The Granite Island Causeway (the Causeway) is an iconic landmark with considerable heritage value. The Causeway, located 83 km south of Adelaide on the Fleurieu Peninsula, is the only link between Granite Island and the mainland at Victor Harbor and is a site of cultural significance to the traditional owners of the area. The Causeway is also a popular tourist attraction, important to the local, regional and state economies.
I captured this image whilst away recently visiting South Australia. The Victor Harbor Horse Drawn Tram runs on this causeway to Granite Island and back, and is a very popular activity for tourists visiting Victor Harbor, South Australia, and probably a world known event.

Mecoptera (from the Greek: meco- = "long", -ptera = "wings") are an order of insects with about 550 species in nine families worldwide. Mecoptera are sometimes called scorpionflies after their largest family, Panorpidae, in which the males have enlarged genitals that look similar to the stinger of a scorpion. The Bittacidae, or hangingflies, are a prominent family of elongate insects known for their elaborate mating rituals, in which females choose mates based on the quality of gift prey offered by various males.
While modern Mecoptera are overwhelmingly predators or consumers of dead organisms, early ones might have played an important role before the evolution of other insects in pollinating extinct gymnosperms

C-GCEV, a 40-year-old de Havilland Canada DHC-7-103 Dash 7, on approach to runway 33 at Downsview Airport in Toronto, Ontario.
It was arriving as TIN801 (Air Tindi Ltd.) from Thunder Bay, Ontario and Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
Serial number 63 first flew on October 17, 1981 and began its career as P2-ANN with Air Niugini Limited in Papua New Guinea on November 6, 1981.
Only 113 DHC-7s were produced and today fewer than 20 remain airworthy. It is indeed a rare bird.

One Step for a Nation, One step for Humanity?
Where is the Mr. or Ms. Smith when we need them the most? Maybe this will be the person and he or she has arrived in Washington to help the little guy and do the right thing for our nation & for the world.
Our nation is at a cross road and the path ahead isn't very clear to many of us. Whoever wins this election the road ahead for them will be always full of political situations and obstacles that will always be changing, that will be the true challenge. I pray that those decisions will reflect the best interest of the average individual of this nation.
Or is this just a pipe dream that I'm having again?
it's official Spring is here at last!
my very first shot from my new camera and the very first flower of the Spring .
so happy.
Mama Bluebird is building a nest in my backyard box. Daddy's role seems to be that of building inspector. He takes no role in the nest building other than to fly to the box and peer in every time Mama takes in a mouthful of grass. In this case he removed this piece, flew to his favorite perch and dropped it. Go figure.
