Engine 484 pushes our photo freight up Cumbres Pass, near Milepost 338. Sister 488 is on the head end.
Today a few local foamers and I chased a coal down the Arbor Line that had an outward facing Executive MAC DPU. I ended up getting shots of the back, and editing in the lights to make it look like the unit was leading. I shot him here between Syracuse and Dunbar.
A beautiful, bright & uplifting yellow, Easter Cactus blossom in the inside of my house, while looking out the window to the snow that's still in my garden outside! Will it ever melt??? Hopefully before Easter!

A Macro Mondays submission on the topic "Push pull". The little winder button on the side of a watch, which seems to be getting smaller and harder to operate as time goes on. But it certainly requires pulling and pushing to work properly.
It is a crazy notion to think that the moon, roughly 240,000 miles away from the Earth, can exhibit its subtle influence on a body as massive as the ocean, changing.... nay causing tides. And to think, as I sit there watching all that slowly happen that that same moon all those thousands of miles away has its pull on me too. In that respect the ocean and I have something in common.
