This is what it all comes down to, pushing out the new baby. The hospital was pretty relaxed about having friends in the birthing room. Courtney had thought she'd feel awkward about being so exposed to the world. But she learned the lesson moms have learned before her, there IS no modesty when you're having a baby.

It's somewhat hard to see due to the lack of zoom on iPhone, but there's a guy doing push ups on the Chicago Brown Line platform. Why I have no idea. He stopped when the next train came and went about his way. Maybe he did some chin ups on the train? I also like that GPS called this part of town Little Hell.

This guy made my day, and nearly restored my faith in mankind. Here he was sitting, strangely, in a lazy boy, with a sign asking to be pushed to the Golden Gate, and at first, morbidly, I thought he was trying to commit suicide but maybe wanted help. I stopped to ask him what what, but he was on a cel call, then I figured, i had to take some pictures. He welcomed this, and began to explain himself. He said that human kindness could do anything and was the ultimate source of natural power. That he was using it to get him to Golden Gate where he was having a pork roast, he was very inventive, entertaining and eventually got me to push him for half a city block. Being Catholic and Buddhist, kindness is something i need to practice everyday, besides i have a few sins i needed to attone for.

This trash can is found in Tomorrowland. It moves around and talks to guests. Joseph thinks that it's really talking and he wants to invite Push over to do Legos some time.
Almost missed this one as a Hornet speeds past the north tower of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge at just below mach one. Lessons learned? Blinking's not an option and a 100-400 zoom will be the choice in '08. (Shot with a 400 prime...Lady Luck helped a bit!)

The flash was on my left when I was shooting. You can pretty much tell that by looking at the photo.
I think I understand what I am supposed to do to make this type of shot work. I just need more experience with shooting this way. It was nice to learn how to shoot in manual mode. It's kind of funny that I never really experimented with that setting. I hope to have more experimental shots soon.

This is from my first attempt pushing HP5+ two years ago, at first I didn't like it and instead I posted another shot in the same place with "better" light and focus.

Sometimes as in this case, I find stuff that originally I didn't like it but that now I do, and that's why I like to browse through my old photos every now and then.
There is something here that I really like, maybe is the mood, or the rich blacks, or the light , o maybe is just a bit of all. The case is that now this image is my desktop background and I want to share it with all of you.
