This is amazing x43636754754!! I got it from Thriftstoreuk, along with the owl charm. It's just so pretty and a great size for use as a change purse in my bag.

This time a Doesn't-Wrap-Around-Anymore denim skirt was up-cycled into a bag :)
Having a go at small curved frame sew-in purse. This is the sort of shape I was thinking of partner (altho' not at all these fabrics!) - hope that it works for you. Blogged.
A leather molded purse I made for my daughter. This is the first time I attempted something like this.
Dee used a weft inlay technique to insert small strips of fabric into this handwoven twill bag. The bag is lined with a quilted technique -- making it as enjoyable to look at as the outside!

I made cake for my neighbour, she saw a previous cake I made and could not believe it was a pocketbook. I did not dry shoes well, so the heel started to shrink. Held it ups with chocolate. I hand painted the Gucci pattern, airbrushed cake with Super Red.
Pattern: Date Night by Erin from dogundermydesk. Pattern can be found here.
Fabric: Folkloric Skulls
I couldn't wait until Erin came out with her pattern for the Date Night bag. I had my fabric ready to go. I never use to be into skulls but ever since I saw this fabric a while back, I had to have it. Some date night carrying a bag with skulls...LOL That's okay, I'll be the only one!
It wasn't difficult to put together but I did have to take my time on the zipper and handle. I could've done better on it but that's just the first one. I'm sure I will get better on the next now that I got the hang of it. It definitely was a clever little trick on putting the handles together...SMART!!
I wanted a different color for the interior. A nice yellow w/black (I think grey) dot was used for the inside. I wanted the interior to pop a little and was going for the blue in the print but didn't have anything on hand that would work. Oh well!!
It's the perfect size too for a night out. Although I'm a big bag girl myself, I can definitely see myself carrying this purse with no problem. I love it!!
This is a gift for a friend and I really like this pattern. It has a magnetic closure, an inside pocket, and pleats on the outside. I'm displeased with some construction results-my lining top pieces didn't match the exterior and i had to do some folds. The clasp is not perfectly aligned either. But I think the fabric choice is great (it's home dec weight) and I will definitely make this purse again.
