What's currently in my purse. ♥ & currently what I bring to work everyday.

I am missing my iPod touch though.. it was sadly left in my mother's car two days ago. Hopefully it will turn up soon as it's very hot out. I'm also missing my Blackberry... a must for any young professional, I guess.

B/c of very recent personal health concerns (re: life changing) I have now made it a must to carry a small photobook of everyone/thing that makes me smile.

(You can see the original here from 2006. Scary how things change.)

I made this cute purse out of Lara Cameron fabric. :)

purse made from french vintage cotton.

The right side of the Amy Butler Birdie Sling I made for my sister-in-law for Christmas. It was easy and a lot of fun. I used the new Erin Michael fabric line Lush. I love this fabric.

Handmade by me. Pattern from Vendula Maderska.

It came with a blemish like spot on the right side - so I have to use my craft skills to fix it. I just added extra patent leather stripes for each side - and Voila! - a newly renovated bag is looking great!

(Way too big for a Friendship Bag, but wanted to share it anyway)

Well, my *weekend* purse contents anyway :P I want to post my weekday purse contents soon.

I designed this purse based on the Tiny Happy Shoulder Bag. But I downsized it so that fat quarters could be used for the outside material. I used plain muslin for the inside, but another two fat quarters could be used for the inside as well.

The patern is in my pattern store.

Incredibly real looking purse cake sits on top of a designer shoe box to fulfill this expensive accessory collection!

I made my Castle Peeps purse this weekend! The pattern is the Emma Day Bag by Grand Revival Designs that I won along with the fabric from I have to say.... You can purchase the pattern by itself or as a kit over at her shop, Fresh Squeezed Fabrics!

Overall I am really happy with how it turned out! I was a little unsure about how the fabrics would work on a purse but I am SO glad I went with my gut!!

I talked more about the pattern here on my blog: In Color Order

Redesigned and handmade by me. For more information, please take a look at my profile. Base pattern from www.etsy.com/shop/VendulkaM

Harris Tweed purse in mustard with lichen detail (available).

I've made lots of purses over the past couple months but this is the first one I've made for me! I LOVE it!!!!

What to do with all these blocks I've made? With this one, I made my first flex-frame purse, the kind you squeeze and it pops open. Kinda sorta used the instructions in Suzuko Koseki's Patchwork Style but had to modify them because my frame was a different size.

BTW, see the loops the strap go through? They're on the flex-frame hinges. Not all flex-frames have them, but they're pretty handy.

Made the pieced block based on Ayumi's pattern and excellent tutorial on SewMamaSew:

I didn't know which set to put this in...it's fashion, but it was made by Crux, so...^^;

Anyway, it's *huge* and cute, which is a perfect combination :D I can get all my uni stuff in it ^_^

I've got lots of keychains on it (I love keychains XD)...an Ojamajo Doremi plush one, a lego Darth Vader (Go, Darth! XD), and a Qui-Gon Jinn one (because Qui-Gon / Liam Neeson is *love*) who lost his lightsaber...it snapped off the day I bought it ^^;

Also a tiny little "All your base" button my bf bought me, because anything All Your Base related cracks me up (yes, I'm a nerd) :P

Oh, and that's Love Hina volume 3 inside...I bought that yesterday, because I don't buy enough manga, and I <3 Love Hina ^_^;

And yes, it says "Rabichan" on the patterned bit - that's where I got my username from :P
