I must have picked this up from a beach many years ago, I thought it was very special to have such a thing.
It's a small one, 2" long without the "strings" or whatever you call these.
I put this on frosted glass which is balanced on a drinking glass which in turn was placed on a soft light. I took one picture without the drinking glass but it looked boring. So there you go.
During the period when Covid was running rampant in Melbourne, the city streets were deserted, and the purse of commerce was shut.

Working on the pattern now. This one is in Anna Marie Horner Fabric. One of my new favorites at The Top Stitch. Interior is Full Moon Dots in Cherry. I've been carrying around one made with the Norfolk Rose fabric and really loading it down to test it. I am amazed at the capacity.
I attempted to make a ruffle purse with three ruffles using SImplicity 4673 (a pattern from 2005). However, the ruffles were so frustrating that I altered the pattern slightly and only put on one ruffle. There's no sense of scale in this photo, but it is the perfect size for a little girl or pre-teen. I will probably give this to one of my younger girls as a gift.

Many years ago I bought this purse, because I liked the colors and the stitchwort. You can see the purse is used, but I think it's still beautiful.

you can't tell how small the pages are, but its actually a business card holder:)
i love taking things and making art from them! and i had never seen this done before so i was excited:)
I used new October afternoon and Luxe. and added the barcodes from the Art if Found blog prompt...i loved guest designing for them.
This literally took only half an hour:)
Peanut was not happy to be a purse dog for this photo session but she does look cute.

For this challenge I chose something that I've never shot before - an old, soft leather purse (maybe called a "coin purse" where you live).
The shot is SOOC, so not cropped - just shot a few inches away with my new Makro lens ;o)

The past two months we've been dealing with caring for and ultimately the loss of my mother-in-law, and a week of a house full of family members from out of state for the funeral. I happened to have my new camera crammed in my purse (the reason I bought it - yay me) and on our way home from getting some chicken saw this little historic church with bluebonnets. Unfortunately there were about 13 little kids getting their portraits taken so I couldn't get an angle I wanted and I wasn't willing to wait an hour for them to leave. As it is I photoshopped 2 girls out of this photo. I'll take what I can get ha.

This purse were inspirated San Francisco Lombard street. I created it for my sweet daughter to her summer patchwork dress:-)
Made from a nice cotton with really tiny flowers. The frame is 8 cm. The small frame makes it quite fiddly...
The size: clasp is 8-9 cm, height is 8-9 cm
at the widest is 14cm, bottom deep is 6 cm
