Working on the pattern now. This one is in Anna Marie Horner Fabric. One of my new favorites at The Top Stitch. Interior is Full Moon Dots in Cherry. I've been carrying around one made with the Norfolk Rose fabric and really loading it down to test it. I am amazed at the capacity.
I attempted to make a ruffle purse with three ruffles using SImplicity 4673 (a pattern from 2005). However, the ruffles were so frustrating that I altered the pattern slightly and only put on one ruffle. There's no sense of scale in this photo, but it is the perfect size for a little girl or pre-teen. I will probably give this to one of my younger girls as a gift.

I created them before sometime in 2001!! They are 1.5 inch necklace purses. The base is super strong double sided tape!! lol.. They remain very flexible and hang nicely. Created using different sized teeny weeny beads and gold leaf.
The purse on the left is how it looks when it's on your neck. Purse on the right is open to show the inside, entirely made of gold leaf.
Ever since I made them, they've been hanging on the cork board over my craft room desk.. so I can stare at them!! lol.. Really. ;-) Now that I've take this macro of them, I see all the dust!!! But actually, for hanging around that long, they weren't too dusty.
Oh and I did not come up with this idea of a double sided tape necklace, but I create the design. Hope you enjoy seeing them. ;-)
A replica of my first purse, only this time with a handle and the button more prominent. I've set 4 2mm blue faceted sapphires onto the handle and the flap.

For the Macro Mondays challenge (May 2nd 2016) "Begins with the letter P"
For this challenge I chose something that I've never shot before - an old, soft leather purse (maybe called a "coin purse" where you live).
The shot is SOOC, so not cropped - just shot a few inches away with my new Makro lens ;o)

Macro Mondays: Safety
This Pacsafe travel purse comes with two features to thwart pickpockets - a latch that locks the zipper closed and steel mesh inside the fabric to stop knives from slicing through.
This purse were inspirated San Francisco Lombard street. I created it for my sweet daughter to her summer patchwork dress:-)
very happy to introduce to you my first ever self made wallet /purse...
it's the first time i have combined crochet and sewing into a usable item :-)
Dramatic purse made of different felt pieces.
Face of the girl was machine felted and highlighted with fabric paint.
I added also some crochet motifs, satin ribbon etc for embellishments.
Made this bag approx summer 2004- still wearable. Lavishly embroidered with ribbon roses and leaves and blooms, as you see- lots of lush RED color details :-) These large embroidered bags are made as custom orders only.
I've finished the frame purse for my secret partner (well almost, there's a bit of glue to be picked off still)

What's currently in my purse. ♥ & currently what I bring to work everyday.
I am missing my iPod touch though.. it was sadly left in my mother's car two days ago. Hopefully it will turn up soon as it's very hot out. I'm also missing my Blackberry... a must for any young professional, I guess.
B/c of very recent personal health concerns (re: life changing) I have now made it a must to carry a small photobook of everyone/thing that makes me smile.
