The Royal De Luxe puppet show in London continues - here spraying the crowd ... not quite as much fun as it would have been on a hot day!!
The building was burning. The firetruck came and they put out the fire....and sprayed the audience with water at the same time! The boys thought that was great!
Playing puppets in the shopping mall.
The kids liked the movement and sound, I just liked the colors!
Amy is moving soon and wanted to put on a puppet show in her room before she left.
The puppets looked down over the railing of her loft.
We're gonna miss Amy.
Week 9: Puppet Master
ISO:200 f/4 10 seconds
This week I wanted to do something to play out a "puppet master" effect. The string is actually hemp tied around my hands and I used a push pin to pin it in the ceiling. I particularly LOVE the shadow in this one.
Location: Andrews Apartment

One of our classic programs is going to be traveling elsewhere next year, but this year the kids loved Nitsana Lazarus' Traveling Puppets show!

Scenes from the Center of Puppetry Arts, Atlanta, April 2006.
This is from one of the first rooms you enter in the center...it is a huge room filled from top to bottom with puppets of all sorts. The room is dead silent, except for the sound of a random puppet moving...different puppets at different intervals...sometimes you don't see which puppet has moved, the only clue being a moving limb or noticing that one puppet has moved from one position to another. The effect is very very creepy!
