Christmas performance by 'Juice Puppets'

Thinking of calling him Ollie. This puppet was made with one of those promotional $1 scarves from Old Navy. I *thought* I could get a puppet out of one scarf, and well, I did. But frugal me, thinking, what would I do with all of those scarves if it didn't work, only bought 5 of them. See the tag? I repurposed the tag along with the fringe when I made the puppet.

"Professor" Brian Patterson of the Great Dickens Christmas Faire presents a Victorian puppet show at the Museum of Performance & Design on Saturday, November 12, 2 -3 pm.

Puppet is one of Indonesia's culture which still survive nowaday. Art of acting, vocalizing, music, speech, literary, painting, sculpture, symbolism, entirely contained within the puppet. It continues to evolve over time not only as an entertainment, but also as a media of propaganda, education, and philosophical understanding.

We had some big puppets that were so heavy that we couldn't hang them of the ceiling. These two were hung using hook and hooked onto the wall.

We hardly realise that we are all nothing but puppets. These are the tradional Rajasthani wooden puppets whicha are used to put up grand shows narrating great legends of the land. It was shot at Jaisalmer

I was on an assignment at a funeral parlor over a crew sudden death on board his vessel.

Puppets probably used to make up head counts when the deceased does not have any acquaintance.....to moan his death.

Looks eerie if you are left alone with it....it is looking at you sharply!!
