Kids being kids have to be entertained. The Montreal Jazz Festival does a pretty good job for them... This puppet show was among many things the kids were glued to. I think some ofthe adults were as fascinated..
The show started off with puppeteers. Their puppets were projected to the screen in the back. The puppets started off singing "Loser". They were really good!
If you take a look at pictures of the puppets from someone who used an SLR you'll notice that on the back of the puppet stage, there were mini-puppeteer puppets and Beck, and tiny puppets for the mini-puppeteer puppets. Beck = nerdy/awesome!
Last moth I visited a the Puppetry Art Institute museum in Independence Mo.

The full body of a stop motion animation puppet I am building as a test before building three puppets for a short animation project I am undertaking in the near future... this guy is merely a mock-up to get an idea of building materials and structure before moving on to the real puppets...

- The 24th annual Peoplehood Parade, organized by Spiral Q, took place on a sunny fall Saturday featuring hundreds of community activists representing a diverse range of neighborhood organizations. Colorful banners, signs, puppets, and other props drew people from the neighborhood homes on the route from the Paul Robeson House all the way to Clark Park.
