Full detail of commissioned FFXI puppet.
Puppet stands about 58cm from top of hat to toes. Sculpted using paperclay over wire and foam base. Red silk hat and sleeves, cotton pants and tooled leather details.
Main shirt and all gold details save cuffs are tooled leather. Cuffs are paperclay solid. Tassel on back of hat is spun wool with hand dyed red tip.
He also has a glow in the dark string harness to keep him suspended [though without it, he stands on his own as you can see] which was not pictured.
The Wolf puppet I made for the upcoming live action/stop motion film Nanuq.
The head is made from a real fox skull.

I made the chambray ones first - really like these ones - just finished the second pair - used a checked bias binding for the trim - don't love them so much!

Cow puppet built for "Wok With Marshall" (1997). Was built in a hurry on a lunch break during the shoot!

marionette puppet 1: aina maninonet... aina named the puppet.
This rather er... busty lady is by Martina who was on the same workshop - she covered the puppet in a stretchy fabric which does give the puppet a rather fabulous figure!! I will be seeing this puppet again on a stop motion animation workshop on Tuesday so will post up more.
