Krusty pups have been a staple of Washington State Fair food for at least 20 years. They are hand dipped and known for their large size. They are shown along with Greek Fries (crinkle cut with feta cheese). “Krusty pups are definitely the best corn dog ever. No ketchup needed.” Elissa Kesterson.
This pup was born just 30 minutes before we arrived at Donna Nook.
The grey seal (Halichoerus grypus, meaning "hooked-nosed sea pig")
In the United Kingdom and Ireland, the grey seal breeds in several colonies on and around the coasts. Notably large colonies are at Donna Nook (Lincolnshire)
The name is supposedly to be that of a ship called 'The Donna', part of the Spanish Armada, which sank off the Nook (a small headland) in 1588.
These pups are way too young to race, but they seem to enjoy watching the older dogs. (Karen Given/Only A Game)
