One of the cool discoveries on my recent Fall Colors trip to Northern Michigan and Minnesota, was this pumpkin farm near Ashland, Wi. More beautiful pumpkins than I had ever seen in one place before.

The farmer was friendly, and I had the best caramel apple ever there!

my non carved pumpkins

A fine autumn day in the traditional kitchen gardens of Calk Park. These Pumpkins sum up the mallowness of the time - you can almost smell them.

A fun grouping we saw at Amish Door Restaurant in Wilmot OH on a beautiful fall day hay ride

I thought I was being all prepared, ordering pumpkins from Tuscarora, for Halloween. Turns out I ordered "heirloom" pumpkins, and this is what we got.

These will make wonderful jack-o-lanterns soon.
