Meet my two-and-a-half year-old grandson, John, on a recent visit to a local pumpkin patch sporting his brand new straw hat.

The eve of heritage day (columbus) day in Southborough, everyone brings pumpkins to the center of town and lines the stonewalls around the cemetary with pumpkins.

Elkin posed very well (unusual) on a little Halloween display at the Emporia zoo. Isn't he the cutest kid ever?!

Today's image is an oldie but a goodie. I shot this almost 4 years ago. In looking back at the image I realized that applying a vintage look to the image could give it an entirely different feel. I'm happy with the results.

Fairytale pumpkin is deeply ribbed and has a very smooth hard surface. It is dark green in color when immature, and as it cures it turns a gorgeous deep mohagony.

I expect this pumpkin will get stolen and be smashed in the street ...oh well!

I think someone has been over-watering the Legoland pumpkin......
