Halloween awaits! The pumpkins have been picked and are awaiting shipment to retail outlets. The lines of potential masks and lanterns were seen on a farm near Midhurst in West Sussex.

Pumpkin patch at Papa Johns Farm in Severn, MD. It was raining cats & dogs but I was determined to get some pumpkin photos!

Choc chips on the graham cracker/wheat germ crust, before filling.

Or a regiment of orange ovalness?

Or a pile-up of some showy squash?

My son sure loves trucks. Apparently, he likes them even more than pumpkins.

I actually took some pictures today. Other than the grandkids that's the first time in two weeks. Fortunately two weeks from today we'll be landing in Budapest. :-)

I seriously need to pick up my camera more often.

These are a few of my favorite things: Tagged by the amazing Chris!

Number - 5

Color - Honestly, I don't have a favorite color. I love green, but I also love pink. I love orange, I love violet, I love all natural-earth colors.

Day - Thursday, because it is the end of my week. Thursday is my Friday.

Month - August is my birth month, but in all honesty, October; because it isn't too cold, or too hot, it is just right. October is the excuse to snuggle month.

Song - The sound of the outdoors, the sound of bees working, the sound of cars passing by, and the sound of birds singing.. But preformed, anything John Mayer or Marc Broussard.

Food - Good question. I am a very diverse eater, I have eaten food from almost every country and culture. I just know I really don't like nuts, or peanut butter. They give me a sick stomach :(

Sport - I quit years ago, I live, breathe, study, live, art. (Quite literally)

Drink - Water! I have become accustomed to water.

Candy - See's Candy!

Ice cream - Chocolate :)

Season - They are all unique in their own ways.

Band - John Mayer <3

Movie - I don't watch movies enough to answer this question.

Website - lol what a typical answer. FACEBOOK. Which reminds me, you should like my Facebook Like Page.

Animal - Koi Fish!

Item of Clothing - TOMS! :)

Word - Matthew :) (Haha, boyfriend for those of you that don't know).

Place - Honestly, I don't know. Heaven would be a witty answer, but here on earth, probably holding Matthew's hand.

Happy Halloween! So...now that everybody has picked up their pumpkins, what happens to all of them at these pumpkin farms? Do they just sit there and rot? Are they made into pumpkin soups and pies, or perhaps they are used creatively for other matters.

A selection of mini pumpkins.
