Pattern: Owls by Kate Davies
Yarn: School Products Cashmere Merino Cone
Needles: US 9
Yes it's that darn owl sweater that everyone and their mother has knit. I followed katiekakes' modifications for using worsted weight yarn, which is to knit one size larger than you normally would using US 9s. This worked out perfectly! To date, this is the most well-fitting sweater I've ever made, and I've made a lot of sweaters... -_-;;; A pleasure to knit and wear. There's so many things about this pattern I appreciate, from the shaping by the small of the back (genius) to the shortrows around the back of the neck. The yarn was an absolute delight to work with and I reckon I only used about 40% off the cone! Expect to see a lot more knits coming soon with this same yarn.

I'm making a smaller (me-sized) version of brooklyntweed's Cobblestone Pullover from the latest IK, and adding waist shaping. The yarn is handpaintedyarn.com's Worsted Merino, from back before it became "Malabrigo". Yay, stash-busting!

The sweater that was supposed to be a Yule gift, but will be a Christmas one instead!
Made from Blue Garter's Twisted Tree pattern in size 4/5. Only change I made to the pattern (other than mistakes!) was to knit the hem, collar, and cuffs in 2x2 ribbing, rather than rolled stockinette. Used 6 balls of Knitpicks Swish DK in Cobblestone Heather.
pattern: leif's twisted tree pullover, from bluegarter.org
yarn: gedifra living, 7.25 balls
gauge: looser than the recommended 20st, on US 8 options
size: 2-3 yrs (replacing measurements with row counts according to recommended gauge)
adjustments: zip. zero.
the real colour is a medium-dark turquoise.
This was supose to be my attempt at a pullover crocheted fair isle but with the increasing and the lack of the yoke actually being worked in the round it did'nt work out quite right, so I just did it in a trinity stitch stripe.
