My husband cut off the top of my head in this photo, but it shows the pullover I just finished really well. The pattern is The JazzaGal, designed by Mary Annarella. The yarns I used are Hazel Knits Blueprint in the Crescent colorway and Hazel Knits Aero Mo in the Aquariius colorway. The yarns are held together, resulting in a very soft and squishy fabric.

One of the things I look forward to on any trip is the places you discover tucked away along side the road as you travel between destinations. We spotted this little pond beside a country road in Wisconsin. I try not be so focused on the destination that I forget to enjoy the journey.

I admit it, I was tempted to shear the sheep and take the wool home to knit a nice brown and cream pullover. The brown sheep in these parts were a very dark chocolate colour. They actually came running up to me (see photo in first comment box) like I was the Pied Piper, never had that happen with sheep before, I must smell like the locals :-)

This is my sewing room. "Sewing" is called "Yousai" in Japanese, but this word has two meanings - the another one is "Fortress". My husband always says that the latter is a more exact expression for this room. Yes, I'm a commander of the fortress!

Es wird kälter hier und an der Ostküste der USA gab es Schnee. Es kann also nicht schaden einen warmen Pulli anzuziehen.
It gets colder here in Germany and it was snowing on the east coast of the USA. So it could be a good idea to wear a warm sweater
For this week's theme on Macro mondays Textile a detail of my knitted pullover. In real life it feels like a soft teddy bear and the different colours add up to something brown. HMM
It wasn't even cold running around in my pullover today :-) I like 10°C in december!

I finished knitting this pullover about a year ago, but I didn't wear it because I didn't like the too-wide neckline. Last week, I picked up stitches around the neck opening, knit three rows and bound off. It pulled the neck in perfectly, and now I'll be happy to wear the pullover.
