I'm overhauling my DesigningVashti.com crochet site! This is an image I created (or updated) for one of the shop pages.
used 3 skeins of Moda Dea Twiddle Dee yarn. I designed this as a loose fitting, bell sleeve, low U neckline, and waist fitted pullover.
Short-sleeve pullover top with a shoulder seam button opening. Has a unique texture detail at the top.

Pattern: Owls by Kate Davies
Yarn: School Products Cashmere Merino Cone
Needles: US 9
Yes it's that darn owl sweater that everyone and their mother has knit. I followed katiekakes' modifications for using worsted weight yarn, which is to knit one size larger than you normally would using US 9s. This worked out perfectly! To date, this is the most well-fitting sweater I've ever made, and I've made a lot of sweaters... -_-;;; A pleasure to knit and wear. There's so many things about this pattern I appreciate, from the shaping by the small of the back (genius) to the shortrows around the back of the neck. The yarn was an absolute delight to work with and I reckon I only used about 40% off the cone! Expect to see a lot more knits coming soon with this same yarn.
