Not exactly Puddle of Mud but it'll do. I was walking to work and looked down and being the Peter Parker that I am took this shot.

After I put on my Froggy shirt, I got 3 frogs as neighbors! Puddles would have been a better name for a dog though.
It's a lot of fun to walk around and look at everyone's dolls. I enjoy seeing how people customize them. But it's also neat to see some of the rarer dolls or brand new ones in person.
A coalition of organisations including ANTaR, Oxfam Australia, HREOC and NACCHO were present at the launch of the Close the Gap campaign at Telstra stadium in Sydney.
A few volunteers installed a Sea of Hands "puddle" in the stadium.
About Close the Gap:
Indigenous Australians die 17 years earlier than non-Indigenous Australians and Indigenous infant mortality is three times that of non-Indigenous Australians. It is a national disgrace that Indigenous Australians do not have the same access to health services that other Australians enjoy. Sign the Close the Gap pledge.
I was taking a picture of the puddle when i saw that my feet got into the shot. I liked the way you can see my feet and my reflection as I'm taking the picture.
Taken at PUDDLE 2010 in Elk Grove Village, IL.
The tables for sale were beautifully decked out with rement.
(Lousy photo--taken from a distance and severely cropped.)
What do you do when it rains all day long? Well, the robins have a pool puddle party! It was such fun to watch them. They were flying in and out, as many as six at one time, chirping through all the fun. You'd think they would already be clean since it had been raining so much......so maybe this really is just a party.
I had another little wander up the hill/mountain today after a few days rain. For the geography of it, this view is from kasigau looking out towards Nairobi (well, 300km to Nairobi)
A big storm woke me this morning; it left us with intermittent power and flooded roads that couldn't keep up with the downpour. It cleared in the early afternoon so pup and I got a quick walk in. If I'd had more time I'd have collected some of the downed lichen covered branches.
A Pipevine Swallowtail sips nutrients from the edge of a very muddy mud puddle at Broughtons Wildlife Education Center, near Marietta Ohio in late May. By sipping the fluids from the saturated soil the butterfly gets needed nutrients, vitamins and amino acids.
It was a challenge to get close enough to the butterfly for a good photo without doing some unwanted puddling myself, LOL, as the soil for a large area around him was very wet and boggy.
This was the first Pipevine Swallowtail I had the opportunity to photograph this year. I was also hoping to get a dorsal view but it was not to be on this encounter.
Numbers for most butterfly species in my area seem low this year with some species completely absent.
