How often do you get to shop in person for your Pullips? This year PUDDLE had several new vendors in addition to the usual ones offering up a variety of shopping opportunities.
Pale Angel Accessories was back this year with lovely knit and sewn items for Pullips and some other size dolls.
all we experienced from irene (i'm in miami).. just a few puddles.

for utata Thursday walk. There's a blocked drain in our street so we get a huge puddle or even a watersplash when it's really bad.
The Friday Night Tea Party in the lobby area is a time to enjoy some tea and admire dolls. There's also some informal selling to indulge in.

I took this photo a Rose Hill Cemetery in Cumberland, MD. I was actually on a photo shoot at the Cemetery for my Art 435 Photography final assignment. However, the Western Maryland Photographer's Association's photo challenge of the week was "puddles/mud puddles". Here was a great opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. I got my "puddles" shot plus a possible shot for my "At the Graveyard" final assignment. (Except for tweaking the colors and levels a little this photo was not Photoshopped.)

Yesterday was a perfect day to shoot some wicked reflections, puddles everywhere, plenty of people in the streets and some sunshine to frolic up the whole scene a bit, so I kept snapping away and took hundreds of pictures to please your eyes. Of course the poor victims of my puddle rage had no idea what was going on and thought I was just another one of those crazy people that you see everywhere doing their crazy thing in the best city in the world...and they might be right, haha :D

...puddles (or any other still body of water) are awesome for night photography. They allow you to get tremendous reflections. Sadly, they are scare (and tend to draw inspects if dirty). We need more rain, but rain impedes normal photography so I can live without the puddles. However, if I one day get intrepid enough I will get the camera raincoat. I could use my kit lense (where did I put it?) and my worn out camera (47000 shoots out of a 'life' of 50000).
This puddle was in Hoboken. This is Observer Highway and Marin Blvd. As for the car, it is a Toyota Camry Hybrid - my tip to be the new dominant NYC taxi...
