All of our hikes have included tons of muddy sections this fall. We just can't seem to get away from puddles. We try to go around them as often as possible but there are times I just step right into the shallow ones. Instead of being annoyed at the excess mud and water, I embraced it by looking for interesting abstracts. This one appealed to me because all the ripples in the puddle gave it a rich texture around the leaves while the blue sky was reflected beautifully.

Although this looks like a river, it is just a puddle. The empty spot where the reflection ends is a walkway. Then a blurry reflection continues in the actual river.

Piazza San Lorenzo is located on the oldest Etruscan hill of Viterbo: the Colle del Duomo. The city has another underground medieval city, when it rains you can swim from the underground city to the sky
