The water reflection is actually caused by a puddle which should be there after heavy rain.

Gorleston-On-Sea, Norfolk, UK, May 2020

All of our hikes have included tons of muddy sections this fall. We just can't seem to get away from puddles. We try to go around them as often as possible but there are times I just step right into the shallow ones. Instead of being annoyed at the excess mud and water, I embraced it by looking for interesting abstracts. This one appealed to me because all the ripples in the puddle gave it a rich texture around the leaves while the blue sky was reflected beautifully.

I have inverted the photo to create this image.

Although this looks like a river, it is just a puddle. The empty spot where the reflection ends is a walkway. Then a blurry reflection continues in the actual river.

Piazza San Lorenzo is located on the oldest Etruscan hill of Viterbo: the Colle del Duomo. The city has another underground medieval city, when it rains you can swim from the underground city to the sky

On the way in today as the snow began to turn to rain this puddle caught my eye...I loved how the very wet snow fell from the trees in to it creating new circles and patterns.

This is the last one from the sunrise last sunday using the puddle to get some great reflections.

I have again put my phone in harms way and dipped it into a puddle. ;-)
