Couldn't decide which I liked best, B&W or colour. Decided on the colour, I like the different shades of stone. What do you think?
P.S. Hope the embedding works! ;)
After the recent 8” of rain, there are lingering puddles along the roads; some look deep enough to swim in! It’s gray today, but no rain forecasted so I went out for a 5.25 mile walk.

I spotted this outstanding reflection in a puddle in the middle of the woods and even though I've taken a few of these now, I couldn't resist the colours and clarity of the reflection.

Puddles : )
I like them so.
They act as natural mirrors, so what you perceive as looking down, may seem to others as looking up!
That confused me when I wrote it out. I hope it confused you too : )
But the cord I had bought from the wool shop earlier was too thick...i will now be rushing off there again in the morning to get the thinner cord. Then I will be performing my first sleep eyes customisation, yippee!
After the rain, there are always a lot of puddles in the parking lot and some interesting reflections.
It's no surprise that the first thing Chuppy does is plop himself into the water. I'm kinda hoping that the entire court becomes a HUGE puddle, because you ALL know how fun that is ;)
I am still soo stoked for the beginning of Autumn. The sun goes down faster though, so I'm hoping daylight savings comes by soon.

Remember being a kid and jumping in puddles? Now as an adult we avoid puddles because we don't want to get wet, or our shoes dirty or we think its silly. What happened to us being so adventurous or just having fun and not caring what others think?

I wanted to try something different here with a slow shutter to create some kind of moody abstract. The more and more I look at this picture, the more I think it could be looked at in so many different ways.

The forecasters are threatening us here in the UK with the wettest January on record, so a watery theme for today. Even puddles can have wonderful reflections!

I hit this hike just as the rain was tapering off and the sun was starting to shine. I worked over to this dirt road, where I knew that I could find some visual interest in the reflections of the puddles along the road. Autumn colors peaked early here this year, and this was pretty close to the top. My review of this amazing little lens for mirrorless bodies, the Rokinon 12mm f/2, should go live in about a week.
Technical information Canon EOS M, Rokinon 12mm f/2. Processed in Adobe Lightroom 5, Photoshop CC, and Alien Skin Exposure 6
