Because this cami/shrug combo is a set, I’m counting it as one sweater in my quest to wear thirty-one sweaters this month. Don’t worry, I have plenty of sweaters.

While it was only lightly raining, today, there are still plenty of puddles to avoid (or splash in). For now, I’m still living in these rain boots.

Things got a bit more interesting once I found the right field and the right puddle. The auroras were out early in the evening with lots of movement and colors, thanks to a big solar storm. The lights near the horizon are from nearby Edmonton.

It's just a puddle on the side of the road. But to me, it's more. It's a sunset over a landscape that I miss dearly. Cambridgeshire may not be known for dramatic landscapes, but it's simple beauty was captivating.

I walk through this dry creek bed several times a year and have never seen water in it. Recent rain had left puddles which made pretty reflections. I was very much deceived by the size of the puddle.......as I walked through the leaves I discovered they were hiding squishy mud!

â–¶ This was one of a few buildings left standing after demolitions a month earlier. Shortly after the photo was taken, this building, too, was razed.
