An awesome, quiet Irish pub in Manhattan. Despite the rain, it was sweetly calm in the middle of a Saturday afternoon.

The pavement is sunk beneath the road surface and if I had dropped into the dip I would never have framed the whole pub. Looked shut to me with a 'for sale' or 'to let' sign outside.
One of the remaining buildings which once stood at each corner of the old Metropolitan cattle market. Formerly pubs, they were named The Lion, The Lamb, The White Horse and The Black Bull. Today, three of the four remain and, with the clock tower, are listed structures
They now sit as majestic, um, offices and luxuary flats, sitting amongst the nearby ugly council blocks. Which pub was this, I wonder?
