Published in Budapest by Gustav Grimm in 1910. Cloth boards.
The book is in German and has a few fine penciled markings in the margin.
Some of the pages are loose, the overall condition of the book is not great.
There is an ink signature on the title page dated 1914?

Gli Afterhours fanno tappa in Italia il 10 Aprile al Mediolanum Forum di Assago a Milano per i 30 anni della band.
‘Bianca’, assieme a Carmen Consoli, è il singolo che anticipa l'uscita di Foto di Pura Gioia, album antologico che racconta 30 anni degli Afterhours.
“Gli Afterhours e Carmen Consoli negli anni, hanno percorso strade diverse ma parallele, hanno condiviso parte di un'esperienza musicale e una visione comune della musica. Era ora che finalmente si incontrassero sul piano comune della canzone d'autore”.
Con queste parole, Manuel Agnelli racconta la collaborazione con Carmen Consoli che duetta con lui in ‘Bianca', il nuovo singolo degli Afterhours, qui in una versione completamente riarrangiata e risuonata, che ha anticipato l'uscita di Foto di Pura Gioia, album antologico: 76 tracce che ripercorrono i 30 anni di carriera della band.
Sarà un'occasione irripetibile per festeggiare i trent’anni di carriera di una band che ha scritto un pezzo importante della storia della musica italiana.
Gli Afterhours sono un gruppo rock italiano formatosi a Milano nella seconda metà degli anni ottanta.
L'attuale formazione è composta da Manuel Agnelli, leader e voce del gruppo, Roberto Dell'Era (basso), Rodrigo D'Erasmo (violino, tastiere) e Xabier Iriondo (chitarra), Fabio Rondanini (batteria) e Stefano Pilia (chitarre)
This photograph was published in the Illustrated Chronicle on the 2nd of May 1917.
During the Great War the Illustrated Chronicle published photographs of soldiers and sailors from Newcastle and the North East of England, which had been in the news. The photographs were sent in by relatives and give us a glimpse into the past.
The physical collection held by Newcastle Libraries comprises bound volumes of the newspaper from 1910 to 1925. We are keen to find out more about the people in the photographs. If you recognize anyone in the images and have any stories and information to add please comment below.

I will throw the Pantheon up into the sky, said Michael Angelo, and he built the great dome of St. Peter's. He was in his seventy-second year when he was called by Paul III in 1546 to continue the task of building the new St. Peter's, and he labored at it till he died in 1564, at the age of eighty-nine. The vast pile was begun in 1450 and not completed until 1626.
The colossal temple cost $50,000,000. Its dome is a magnificent triumph. Apart from that, the architecture is the subject of constant criticism. The Gothic and classical ideals were struggling against each other during the period of its construction. It covers about six acres of ground. The dome reaches a height of 333 feet.

We as people are artists in every sense, musicians, writers, designers… We essentially create, we share, and we respect one another. The hard work our team, has put into a designing a line, that defines us as people, is truly inspiring.
