Sleepy Sun is a psychedelic rock band from San Francisco, California made up of singers Bret Constantino and Rachel Fannan (Rachel left the band in 2010), guitarists Matt Holliman and Evan Reiss, bassist Jack Allen, and drummer Brian Tice. They released their debut album Embrace on ATP Recordings on June 16, 2009, which received favorable reviews. Their follow-up album, Fever, was released on June 1, 2010. The band embarked on multiple tours throughout 2009, with their live show becoming a subject of acclaim. In March 2010, they embarked on a tour of the United States, opening for the English rock band Arctic Monkeys.

I did this for a poster competition using elements from a couple pieces of work I did recently. The Center is located on the site of the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival and is a very cool... and remote... place to visit

FAILED PICTURES - another shaky photo, this time showing RM682 (WLT682) in Golders Green bus station in psychedlic style overall advertising livery for Pye, working Route 13.

The bus only carried this livery for a few months in 1973.

Taken with my basic Kodak Brownie using 120 roll film.

I got this giant bubble blowing thing today. I'm excited to try it out. Although my dogs have decided that it's their new favorite thing to chase the bubbles and try to eat them. Hopefully this stuff's not toxic hahaha

Here's my quick psychedlic picture, I'm going to try to do a weird, or trippy picture once a week. That way I am obligated to try new things in photoshop :)

I was highly inspired by some photos I saw on deviant art today. I love how photographers have such a wide range of style. I've seen far too much commercial stuff and looking at these conceptual gothic, surrealistic photographers really gave me a boost to continue against the grain. Don't get me wrong, I love pretty pictures.. but there's just something about the disturbing, emotional, raw pictures that make me wish I could capture that every time. Is it weird that I'm drawn to that sort of thing? I mean, I'm a generally happy person.... :o)

Don't eat this mushroom. It is a psychedlic and while it might sound fun, you might have a "bad trip", or get ill.

I just thought it was beautiful and very fairy tale like.

Archives. I needed to add something to the Live Music set and groups. From Earthday earlier this year. Their new album Embryonic is one of Pitchfork's highest rated albums this year. I like really like most of their stuff, but this wont be everyone's cup of tea.

Shot with the 100-400 at 400mm on the cropped sensor Canon 30D.
