I was playing with an interesting process for this Pano. I shot 10 vertical groups of 30 images, total 300 images. I did this using my intervalometer to fire off 30 shots for each of the 10 segments of the Pano. Why might you ask? It is just my nature to experiment and play with technology. Anyway, I was interested in a pseudo "long exposure" effect for cloud movement. without shooting an actual long exposure. This works well when its bright and sunny and you just can't get a long exposure, even with a ND filter. The wind was blowing, and the clouds were moving in the distance. By shooting 30 shots continuous one after another I captured the clouds in a slightly different position due to their movement with each shot. Then back in Photoshop there is a process called (Smart Object Stack mode, mean) where you load all your images as layers in Photoshop. then you convert all 30 into a single Smart Object. then you use the Stack Mode and select mean. Photoshop processes them all together into a single image rendering the different cloud positions as a fluid movement as if it was a single long exposure. I did this for each of the 10 segments.
If you look at the Sky, it has movement, but the mountains are sharp. I shot these at 1/400th of a sec. (This is not a Photoshop or AI blur effect)

The Skútustaðagígar pseudo-craters are located in the Lake Mývatn area. The craters themselves are not magma-producing volcanic vents but were formed by gas explosions when boiling lava flowed over the cool, wet surfaces about 2,300 years ago.

Lake Myvatn, Skútustaðir
As you enter the Mývatn area the first place of interest are the Skútustaðir pseudo craters.
This natural phenomena is formed when lava flows over wet ground and pushes the ground down. This causes a lot of steam to be trapped under the weight of the lava which then causes a lot of pressure. When the pressure becomes too much it causes steam explosions and the formation of these beautiful pseudo craters. These pseudo craters are often called rootless craters as they have no end to them as do normal craters.

En fait d'avenue, c'est une route à double sens de circulation très étroite (de la largeur d'un camion) empruntée par des automobiles et par des poids lourds qui transportent fruits, graines et engrais.
Encore une fois la route suit les ondulations du terrain et non une côte.
Deux creux de 20 cm verticaux et de quelques dizaines de mètres de longueur suffisent à la rendre impraticable.
Dionis & Camani ont demandé aux encostumés du Lot-et-Garonne de créer la véloroute 80 à moindre coût avant une échéance électorale.
Aussi, ici, deux panneaux "attention cyclistes" ont été plantés et ainsi ces magiciens ont transformé la route en pseudo véloroute.
Le chemin de halage longeant le canal qui se trouve 3 mètres au dessus n'est donc pas utilisé.
Ces inconséquents n'ont pas pris en compte les inondations provoquées par les débordements récurrents de la Garonne ni le fait que cette route est empruntée par les conducteurs sans permis pour échapper aux contrôles.
Ce qui au premier abord peut apparaître comme une petite route tranquille avec peu de circulation n'en n'est pas moins dangereuse qu'une départementale pour autant.
Honte à ces élus qui se montrent moins pingres quand il s'agit d'améliorer le confort de leurs locaux, de faire un bon gueuleton ou un voyage aux frais du contribuable.
Signalons quand même que la prestation offerte par certains patrons du BTP est souvent bien en deçà de ce qu'ils facturent.
Vite fait, mal fait, très rentable!
Alors quand il n'y a pas de contrôle ou quand celui-ci se fait au restaurant ...

A starry night with Aurora Borealis and some snowy pseudo craters in the foreground. A pseudo crater is a bowl-shaped crater made when a hot stream of molten lava flows over a wet, boggy area. The hot lava boils the water of the wetlands and the steam pressure causes explosions, creating clusters of pseudocraters. Myvatn, Iceland.

It is not an everyday thing for you to see an image like this. And it’s no fun if I tell you right away what exactly this is. Somehow, it’s not short of an artistic form it makes up to be with the bright light in the middle of well-proportioned dreary illuminations in the orbit.
NOTE: This image was uploaded on April 11, 2008. But, I put this up front once again using the magic of "posting date" in flickr just to give the answer to this so-called trivial image. Go click on it, you'll see the image with different exposure in comments, then you'll say,
"Ohhh... I see...!!!".
