So because I didn't know how to download the correct Protest shot I took a photo off my Monitor of my followers. Seems like everyone is getting in on the protest.
Beta has not been forced upon me yet. So I don't know what the problems will be.
What I do know is that changes are everywhere. I am up set with my new version on my I Phone. I like the old version. Why everyone thinks everything has to be up graded I don't know. But I do know we can't stop it.
This simple protest will not stop Flickr from doing what it wants to do. But I will join in.
Protest of the passing of proposition 8 in San Diego California. Images were contact printed in a darkroom and then scanned from the contact sheet, levels were adjusted in photoshop and an unsharp mask was applied. I also added my © notice. Film was Ilford HP5 Plus 400 and camera was a Nikon N80. Lens was a Tamron 28-300mm zoom lens.

Yahoo has a history of bad user interfaces, but IMHO they've managed to pull out all the stops with Flickr.
Flickr was, not long ago, easy to use and straight-forward. When the Yahoo yahoos got ahold of it... well, it's evolved into something totally different from that which millions of users knew and loved.
It's choppy, hard to use, and missing so much that I used on a daily basis. For instance... if there's a way to view a photo at full size, I've yet to find it. And why are my photos tagged Restricted as a default?
I still use Flickr because of the huge user base and the name brand. But that doesn't mean I like it.
Now it's just somebody that I used to know.
