A motorcycle helmet added on to with electrical tape, lightly painted clear plastic (for the visor - to get a cloudy effect that the actor could still see through), a costume gas mask (cut up to fit in properly), autoshop tubing, some black string, and a piece of a cut up canvas bag. The strap from the bag ended up being some great last-minute shoulder straps for this scene as well.
My latest entry in the Lagoland Pretend Police collction is this radio and lit flashlight prop. Theradio is in the right hand in a drink pose, and the flashlight is held freely in the left hand.
A striking squre tower built in 1861 as a memorial to the 4th Earl of Aberdeen. There are 91 steps to the top parapet, which gives wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. The style of the Prop is severe, even by Scottish Victorian standards, with a curving profile leading to an oversized parapet, so that it resembles a rook on a chessboard.
A simple marble plaque over the entrance says:
"To George Hamilton Gordon, Fourth Earl of Aberdeen, By his attached and Grateful Tenantry. He was born at Edinburgh 28 Jan 1784 and died at London 14 Dec 1860."
Gordon served as Prime Minister during the Crimean War and owned Haddo House, which can be seen from the top of the Prop. The monument was erected by public subscription, after his death, as his tenants were appropriately grateful for improvements carried out by Gordon on the Haddo Estate.
Though the Prop is still owned by Haddo Estate, it is leased to Gordon District Council who helped finance its restoration.
I have a photo shoot coming up tomorrow and the place Im shooting at needs a little help in the color department. One way to give it some pizzaz is with props. Thanks to my dear sister Nancy who so kindly snipped her flowering trees, I have colorful and natural props!
One of Horizon Air's Dash-8-Q400's propeller's. The big orange thing is the engine intake plug. I'm not 100% sure, but I assume it is used to prevent birds from building nests in the engine, among other things.
Props were available for silent auction; since PNW BJD Expo 2016 was held in the Clearwater Casino & Resort, it seems appropriate that the props are casino-themed
Every wedding requires those important items that description the theme and how important they are to the newlywed.

Conjunt de dues masies i una construcció externa, situada prop de l'antic monestir de Sant Ponç. La planta és irregular i també les cobertes que presenten diferents vessants i nivells. L'orientació de les façanes és sud-oest, amb una finestra que mira a ponent on hi ha esgrafiada la data 1794. Al clos té una era molt gran amb rajoles ditejades de bòbila. Serveix pels aplecs de Sant Ponç per fer-hi la ballada de sardanes. El cobert, a la zona de ponent, té uns arcs de rajol.
NotÃcies històriques:
El seu origen es remunta al segle XVI i fins mitjans del segle XVII va pertà nyer a la famÃlia Rigol. Aleshores passà per matrimoni a la nissaga dels Romegosa. El nom de Dispanya sembla que li ve del sobrenom amb que era conegut Jaume Romegosa a finals del segle XVIII. En aquesta masia, a finals del segle XVIII, hi havia emplaçada una fà brica de vidre català . Les masies i el terreny del mas pertanyien a la casa comtal dels Güell a partir de 1968. Anteriorment pertanyia als marquesos de Castelldosrius, que la cediren com a dot per entroncaments matrimonials amb els vescomtes de Güell. Aquests van vendre la casa i part dels terrenys a Josep Guim i Almirall, el qual ha aportat a la casa el corrent elèctric i abastiment d'aigua (1979). Durant molts anys foren masovers els CastellvÃ, avui industrials de Corbera de Llobregat, i més tard Isidre Roig fins a la seva mort, quan la famÃlia es va traslladar a Vallirana, quedant la casa abandonada durant molts anys fins que fou adquirida per J. Guim.
