The California Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of Prop 8, which took away the right for gay and lesbian couples to marry.
While some props can be either purchased or hired, many others must be created from scratch (especially those needing that wizardry touch). Pierre Bohanna and his Prop Manufacturing Department physically engineered and constructed all of the specialty props for the films. Combining time-tested techniques like hand carving, sculpting and moulding with the latest in the manufacturing technology, they were able to transform concepts from the Art Department into real, touchable, three-dimensional masterpieces.

I'm getting closer.
I am going to work with this structure for now. Therefore I made several more props, to try to arrange the content, and figure out how to attach the covers, before I am going to use the printed paper.
This here is the largest prop, with the panels being 11cm x 11cm larger. I put in two pencils to help you judge the size of the thing. Standing like on the photo, it's about 80 cm long.

Photographed on Fuji Neopan 100 Acros film using a Minolta Autocord TLR. Exposure was by Sunny 16 adjusted for a yellow filter. I used a shutter speed of 1/500 to minimize depth of field.
I found these 2 cute props on sale. The easel is a perfect size to be a small table-top version for msd and the mini artist dummy is perfectly scaled and fully poseable! I just saw them and thought they were a great find. :o)
