The proposed Long-Baseline Neutrino Facility at Fermilab would send an intense neutrino beam straight through the Earth to the Sanford Underground Research Facility in South Dakota. A large particle detector to be built deep underground at SURF would catch some of the neutrinos and explore the interactions of neutrinos with matter. Scientists also would use the detector to look for cosmic neutrinos stemming from supernovae and search for signs of proton decay.

The artist is already involved in designing new photo-effect coins for the Pakistan Mint. In this portrait King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz is shown praying to Allah Almighty and his lips are open and the tounge seems uttering the word Allah. This picture was carefully selected from a set of portraits downloaded from internet. The portrait is a symbolic representation in this way to present him as the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques and a true leader of the whole Muslim Ummah.

The Bellefonte Nuclear Generating Station (shortly BLN) is a partially completed nuclear power plant located in Hollywood, Alabama. A total of four reactors have been proposed over a period of 40 years, and billions of dollars have been spent, but no electricity has yet been produced. The site has sat idle for more than 20 years and some spare parts have been taken from the two incomplete units. In 2011, the Tennessee Valley Authority board of directors approved a plan to restart construction of the Bellefonte Unit 1 reactor. But the ultimate cost and timing for Bellefonte 1 will depend on work at another reactor TVA is completing - Watts Bar 2 in Tennessee. In February 2012, TVA said the Watts Bar 2 project was running over budget and behind schedule.

On Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, Gov. Jay Inslee proposed his budgets for the 2025-27 biennium.
“Rolling back our work in areas like mental health, housing and education is not something we can afford, particularly at the moment we’re finally seeing the results of years of work and investments,” Inslee said. “This is a budget that keeps us moving forward, puts working families first, and continues creating a fairer tax system.”

RULE NO: 68A-13.004, RULE TITLE: Open Season for Taking and Bag Limits for Non-Migratory Game, Issuance of Antlerless Deer Permits and Private Lands Deer Management Permits.
The proposed rule amendment would allow hunters on private land and public lands not otherwise managed under the Commission’s wildlife management area system to harvest the seasonal bag limit of two wild turkeys in a single day. The bag limit would remain one turkey per day on wildlife management areas, wildlife and environmental areas and miscellaneous areas to aid in distributing harvest of the turkey resource among different hunters.
Concerns have been expressed by stakeholders that this change could increase bag limit violations and crippling of birds due to hunters attempting to take two birds at a single set-up. Staff has considered these concerns during its review and concluded that this change is expected to result in no significant increase in harvest, crippling loss, or bag limit violations, and no significant decrease in wild turkey populations.

Proposed route of tramway extension, Heaton Park, Manchester. Sunday 06 July 2014.
In due course it is proposed to extend the existing Heaton Park tramway across the park from the existing boating lake terminus to a new terminus at Bury New Road opposite the Heaton Park Metrolink station. This proposal is subject to approval and funding and would be built to a ‘light rail’ standard with high platforms to enable preserved Manchester Metrolink T68 1000 series tram 1007 to operate thus providing a very useful link from the Metrolink to the boating lake where passengers could change to ride on the heritage trams.

Earth Designs Garden Design and Build were asked to created a landscape and propose garden design in Wanstead, London*. Here are the details of the project
Brief: This client wanted to tidy and improve her existing garden, adding features without radically altering the overall layout. A large portion of the lawn was to be retained and a poorly laid patio needed attention. Provision was to be made for a plethora of children's garden toys and a large timber play-frame. The client also wanted to include a large bespoke home office within the design.
Solution: The solution retained the existing layout as much as possible. The existing random lay sandstone patio was lifted and re-laid, and a new sandstone pathway created running down the left hand side of the space. A series of tall archways, created from chunky new landscaping poles and installed at intervals along the path, offer a visually imposing feature and guides one's eye down the garden.
The path terminates in a sandstone circle in the centre of which is installed a stainless steel water feature. A sculptural screen, comprising a succession of upright landscaping poles of decreasing heights, encloses the sandstone circle in a semi-circle around its edge. Beyond this area space was left for the installation of a large bespoke garden office (not manufactured or installed by Earth Designs).
An additional bed was created across the back of the space, to create a separate children's play area in the garden in which the client installed a large timber climbing structure. The existing planting was supplemented with a scheme of strong colours chosen for year round interest. Several existing 'sky rocket' conifers were replanted in the bed running across the back of the space to help screen the client's shed and large climbing frame.
The lighting was kept simple, with stainless steel down-lighters on each post of the timber arches and a large number of low voltage spotlights nestled throughout the beds.

Our current outdoor sign is one plexiglass piece, where one section allows for interchangeable letters. The whole thing is fading, so we want to replace it. We have someone who can do the printing and application of the vinyl to the (I believe) plexiglass sheet. The whole thing just sits in a groove.
This sign is 8 ft long and just under 3 ft high.
The sign is internally lit. The lettering at the bottom is 4 in. high. I chose that height because that is the height of the current replaceable lettering, and, since people can see those, they should be able to see these.
Any advice would be helpful. I'm not sold on the "@". I tried a " - ", but wasn't totally happy with that, either.
The proposed rule would prohibit importation of cervids with an exception to allow zoos to transfer cervids by captive wildlife permit as long as both zoos meet Association of Zoos and Aquariums accreditation requirements. However, zoos would not be allowed to import white-tailed deer from out-of-state sources.
The proposed draft rules would repeal the Special Acts of Gilchrist, Indian River, and Manatee counties by creating 68B-3.003, FAC (Repeal of Gilchrist County Special Acts); 68B-3.004, FAC (Repeal of Indian River County Special Acts); and 68B-3.005, FAC (Repeal of Manatee County Special Acts).
The repeal of these Special Acts is a continuation of the rule cleanup process that includes the evaluation of all of these localized rules that pre-date the statewide regulation of saltwater fisheries and either repeal or revise them as required. Staff has determined that the Special Acts of Gilchrist, Indian River, and Manatee counties are no longer needed to achieve the agency mission and that their repeal would eliminate unnecessary rules and streamline FWC marine fisheries regulations.
In order to make tarpon a catch-and-release-only fishery, the following rule amendments are proposed. The proposed rule amendments would create a new rule (68B-32.001, FAC, Purpose and Intent) within the tarpon chapter, in order to convey that tarpon will be managed as a catch-and-release-only fishery. 68B-32.004, FAC, (Restrictions on Possession of Tarpon; Commercial Harvest Prohibited) would be amended to remove the provision that allows for a recreational bag limit for tarpon. 68B-32.006, FAC, (Allowed and Prohibited Gear and Methods of Harvest) would be modified to limit allowable gear to hook and line only, prohibit the harvest or attempted harvest of tarpon with a multiple hook in conjunction with live or dead natural bait (NEW), and to extend the rules into adjacent federal waters. 68B-32.007, FAC, (Purchase and Sale Prohibited; Transport and Shipment) would be amended to reduce the number of tarpon a person may transport or ship from two to one.

Earth Designs Garden Design and Build were asked to created a landscape and propose garden design in Hawkwell, London*. Here are the details of the project
The clients , Jon and Karen, have lived at the property for over 10 years. Whilst they have done some minor landscaping with the addition of decking in the last few years, they feel that the space has more potential. They called Earth Designs as they felt no-one locally to them could deliver the sort of look they are after. They require the space to be multi functional with an adult area and somewhere for their son to have some fun. Whilst they don’t want the garden to be ‘kiddie-centric’ they do want Jazz, their son, to be able to engage with the garden. To this end they would like a ‘grow-your-own’ area. They currently have a out building in the garden which they use infrequently as a bar area. This also houses a running machine. Whilst they are keen to retain the option of having an indoor bar, the size of structure does not justify the amount of garden wasted, so we need to find an alternative solution. They prefer calm colours and plan to spend a lot of time in the garden.
This design divides this small sub-urban garden into several distinct functional areas. Attractive, amber-coloured Yellow Balau hardwood decking will be laid directly adjoining the house to create a stylish and durable entrance to the space. Two eye-catching paths lead from either side of the decking up the garden to a small artificial lawn in the right hand corner. The paths will be constructed from 35cm squares of toughened recycled glass panels set into a sea of coloured glass mulch.
The main seating/dining area will be in the bottom left of the garden. An L-shaped rendered block raised bed constructed along the left and rear boundaries will enclose a rectangular decked patio, which will house a freestanding decked table and matching cube stools . Ample seating will be provided by an L-shaped decking bench fixed to the side of the raised bed walls.
Bespoke timber pergolas will enclose the lawn, seating area and glass mulch pathways. Constructed from 90mm x 90mm Yellow Balau posts and beams, these structures will feature a variety of ’alcoves’ in the sides, some of which will also boast coloured Perspex ‘windows’ for that extra ‘wow’ factor.
A bespoke log cabin summer house will be installed along the sideway to house the client’s bar and running machine. This will be built to exact specifications to fit the dimensions of the sideway, with full length windows and double louvre doors at the garden end and a door at the opposite end. This door will act as a gate to access the garden from the front of the house.
