I proposed to Jessie tonight! Her ring is a diamond solitaire in what the jeweler called a "cathedral" setting. What that means is that the sides come up like buttresses, but they don't actually touch the sides of the prongs. I really wish I had a macro lens, since I could not get my lens to focus close enough to get a really good shot (this one turned out a little out of focus). See the other shot I posted for a top view.
O’Shaughnessy Flats
Proposed plans for flats built on Swift Street. The plans show the front elevation and floor plan.
Notice the misspelling of ‘O’Shaughnessy’ on one of the blueprints – this could mean it is a draft. Both blueprints show the subdivision of the land: “No 649 Book 359 and No 391 Book 379 Being Allotment 11 and Part of Allotment 12 Section 11. Authorised by Town of Albury Parish of Albury County of Goulburn”.
The flats have since been demolished and the site is now the WIN Building.

Notably, features a two-level subway line along Hill Street to provide for future subway extensions to South Los Angeles and to Glendale. The need for such subway extensions would be ruled out that year because of the LACTC's proposed Los Angeles-Long Beach light rail line (now known as the Blue Line). Map of proposed hazard reduction burn in Wallingat National Park Monday 22 August 2016. The proposed burn known as the Chinamans/Rocky Gap Prescribed Burn, will be located between Sugar Creek Road and Rocky Gap Trail within Wallingat NP adjoining Wallingat State Forest. Rocky Gap Trail, Chinamans Hill trail and a section of Sugar Creek Road around the burn will be closed during the burn. It is anticipated the burn will commence around 11:00am and be completed by 5:00pm.

A field visit to the site of the proposed Xayaburi Dam has revealed that construction on the dam’s access road and work-camp is rapidly forging ahead, in spite of commitments by the government of Laos to temporarily suspend the project.

A&S100-021 "Community 101: Learning Lexington" students were "treated" to a Halloween visit by Lexington Mayor Jim Gray in class Thursday. Mayor Gray provided a first-hand account of proposed renovations to Rupp Arena, which is owned by the city and serves as the arena for Big Blue Basketball. The vision for a revised Rupp is to create a stand-alone structure that is more accessible to pedestrians and is better connected to the downtown area. Gray, a construction company owner and executive, agreed that the existing Rupp "has good bones" and the proposed reconstruction will create a physical separation between the interior shopping mall and the Lexington Convention Center. This will give Rupp it a more distinctive and lasting presence -- like the Coliseum in Rome, which served as a sport arena in ancient times -- to support what he called "the Roman Empire of basketball."
Community 101 students posed for a class picture with the Mayor, and several students requested selfies with the Mayor.
Community 101 is a 2-hour course intended to familiarize UK students with the greater Lexington community, including its history, economy, and challenges for the future. It is taught by Geography's Dr. Lynn Phillips.
