Properly hot day today. I had a last few bits to do in the garden for Mum though - put a couple of plants in the ground and planted a couple in pots, too. I also nicked a bit of fleabane and ragwort for my own garden ;)
Wore myself out doing that, but had to get packed up as well - and then went to pick my sister and kids up from Glastonbury. I got part way there and missed a call from her, so pulled over to call her back - and she told me they weren't letting anyone leave the festival on foot, so they had been ushered onto a bus and were already on their way to Wells. I turned around and drove to the bus station instead, to pick them up from there. They were all hot and knackered, and very happy to get home! It was lovely to see them all briefly (and to meet my niece's boyfriend, who seems lovely), and my sister was super grateful for the lift.
Walked back to Mum's after that, did a last couple of things for her (hung up some washing and made her a coffee), then got on the road to home. Back before 7pm and very happy to see Tim again :)
