Officina Plantiniana
The Officina Plantiniana soon became the largest printing house in Antwerp. In 1561 Plantin already had four presses and his Officina was already one of the biggest on the continent. In five years' time, Plantin printed 260 publications. In 1563 his success story really begins. Around 1575, the company was at its height: sixteen printing presses, 20 typesetters, 32 printers, 3 proofreaders and a number of sales staff and domestic staff. The Officina is a typographical enterprise of the highest level. Christoffel Plantin and his son-in-law Jan I Moretus were the first printers on an industrial scale.

“Kane John Mills - Remnants (a Triple Bill)
Choreography/ Performance: Kane John Mills
The individual works’ titles are The Mask You Wear, It keeps me up at night. & Divulge.
The Mask You Wear is heavily influenced by Kane’s long-term health conditions, delving into the façade that people create in order to maintain a false but more idealistic perception of themselves. What happens once you no longer have it in you to sustain this front?
It keeps me up at night. examines an imagined thought process that could occur if someone you knew went missing.
Divulge shares honest & dishonest things that no longer have to stay unsaid.
Recent NSCD graduate Kane John Mills is a Plymouth-born emerging choreographer and dance, theatre and installation artist. He has twice been the recipient of PDSW’s Young Choreographer’s Award, enabling him to create two works with mentorship and funding. He is also passionate about psychology, writing and proofreading/editing and aims to have his own inclusive company in the future.”

I was in the ER with him until 5am, when a doctor finally saw him (after more than 5 hours of waiting)
I went home to sleep for a few hours before tackling this 100pg document that I needed to proofread... I got it all done, Paul's surgery went well, and I finally got a good nights' sleep.

May 11: . . . and the pursuit of income. Working today. It's okay, though. It's a gloomy day--good for staying inside, listening to Mozart, drinking gallons of coffee, and making a good dent in a job I'm doing. If the sun comes out, I'll go for a run. Meanwhile, In honor of Mother's Day, I'm using a mug I gave my mom years ago, since she LOOOOOVED chocolate.
For a product that has "never existed", there is an extraordinary amount of residue to suggest that JIFFY PEANUT BUTTER was once a household staple.
While there are thousands of coupons and local grocers advertising JIFFY PEANUT BUTTER, in truth, if a client is paying for an advert, they'll print whatever is supplied in the space purchased. I endeavoured to include newspaper articles that would have had the support of a team of fact-checkers and proofreaders; after all, the reputation of any paper is built on the veracity of their information.
I also wondered if perhaps JIF was once called JIFFY before being purchased by larger conglomerates, but it seems to have been christened JIF from the very beginning:
"In 1958, the brand rollout in the US involved a heavily publicized house-to-house distribution of free sample jars from special trucks emblazoned with the then JIF mascot, the "JIFaroo", a blue kangaroo. An early slogan was "JIF is never dry; a touch of honey tells you why." Early advertising also emphasized the beveled edge of the jar base, meant to make it easier to get the last bit of JIF out of the corner. For many decades, TV commercials for the product have ended with the tagline, "Choosy mothers choose JIF" and, in the 1990s, "Choosy moms choose JIF." Since 1981, JIF has been the leading peanut butter brand in the United States."
