The 'PROMETHEUS III' is a heavy mid-range sniper rifle. The bullets have enough force to break through heavy armored mechs and soldiers. The scope is small Maskutov-Newtonian telescope with IR & UV sight.

It also has a detachable anti-recoil system based on a gauss rifle. Every shot, the gauss rifle shoots a small iron ball with the same force as the bullet to the opposite direction.

Why this Flabby,Aged body with the Triangular Pyramid head ?

Artists have the liberty to express their opposition to all the powerholders and get their messages across through artworks that create reaction for the degradation of the human condition over time, stir emotions and cry out for the future of humanity and for the necessary change ...

Here's V.Simittchiev's answer to GM's (query editor) Isolde Berner some years ago :

"The work can symbolize that we are no longer Human. It is today's Prometheus and there is no triangle without a pyramid of concrete he has over his head.Titan Prometheus is not young and beautiful anymore,it's an aged body - the human world has aged. The pyramid itself is also a human symbol, depending on how to use it.The world of today is quite still, pyramidal can be said, but it feels hard and no longer really Human in the same way as the world Prometheus saved. But there's a hope, that's why he's holding a torch in his hand.To explain a work in detail, is not easy even for the Artist. The myth of Prometheus has been a recurring motif in art, literature and music, and is found in works by Shelley , Goethe , Michelangelo , Beethoven & Swedes V.Rydberg,Strindberg & Hjalmar Gullberg."

Triangles in the art world can symbolize psychic or spiritual things as opposed to squares or cubes that symbolize mundane things. The pyramid is also a favourite symbol of the Illumnists.Prometheus is illuminated,he enlightens the world ...

We may encounter art we don't like, the conflation of art with its purposes is always a difficult issue to examine ...

Generations of writers, philosophers & political revolutionaries have been inspired by Titan Prometheus' story of rebellion.

In contemporary times,Prometheus has become a symbol for progress in Science and Technology.

Darwin considered fire as the greatest discovery made by humanity.

I had some left over dry ice and wired up a couple of LED's to give a bit of atmosphere. I made these figures a while back but couldn't settle on a scene that was interesting enough.

This would look cooler with some editing for the torches but that's a bit beyond my skill set at the moment.

Ashes of the Singularity is a real-time strategy video game developed by Oxide Games and Stardock Entertainment. The game was released for Microsoft Windows on March 31, 2016.

On November 10, 2016, Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation was released. It is a standalone expansion that adds to the base game with more units, maps, and structures, as well as several interface tweaks. The total player count was also increased from 8 to 16 players. The expansion was later merged into the base game on February 16, 2017 after it became apparent that the separate games divided the player community.[1]

If you reading this you have made the jump and moved over to my new Flickr account and many thanks for your continued support and kind comments. For those who are new to my photo stream I welcome you too!

I decided to move to a new account mainly to move away from myeloid 'Turnipfarmer' username. Now your wondering why I picked this name, well I didn't think it was that important when I first signed up to Flickr and I also didn't think I was going to get into photography that much, well 6 years on here I still am, kindly thank you to you all :-). I also realised that I couldn't change the username either once I set it so this was the perfect time to do it and setup a new account with my real name, I also feel it is more professional and is in line with my website and other photography websites I share my work on.

Other reasons is that I had around 3000 people follow me and I also followed around 1000 people but sadly some of these accounts are no longer active and I wanted to support people who regularly comment on my work and take the time to visit my photo stream, this is something I would like to reciprocate. I didn't want to delete my old work so left it there and thought opening a new account would allow me to achieve this rather than sort through the accounts that are no longer active.

It certainly does feel good to have a fresh start and I look forward to seeing all your photos coming up in the future!

Best When Viewed On Black

Towards the front of The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research building sits a large bronze statue entitled “Prometheus Unbound.” The statue refers to the Greek mythology figure bound in chains to a mountainside by an angered Zeus for giving mortals the gift of fire. Prometheus suffered for eons before being released by Hercules. The statue, meant to inspire patients at the Center, themselves imprisoned by their disease and injuries, shows Prometheus standing triumphantly with his hands over his head, broken chains dangling from his body.

One off the bucket list - Dettifoss is a waterfall in Vatnajökull National Park in Northeast Iceland, and is reputed to be the most powerful waterfall in Europe. AKA the massive falls seen in the opening scenes of Prometheus...well worth the detour.

Instead of only looking at the awesome arch above, I took my own advice and looked down to the Appalachian forest floor below. Strange butterfly. Nope, that is not a butterfly antenna. A Google search says this is likely a Prometheus silkmoth from the east coast of the United States.

I proudly present the last figure of my Custom Lego Batman villains series, at least for now and for a while. But don't fret, as a new villain series will be coming soon, in the form of Spider-Man's rogues, beginning with my favorite iteration of the Sinister Six. But before the Spider-Man figs, I have one last thing I want to make, because it will be time for a certain Demi-God.

As for this figure, he is fairly simple.

His helmet was made by Delta Customs for his Prometheus, but he lost interest, and sent it to me instead. It was sculpted completely out of procreate.

His armor and vambraces are from Brickwarriors.

The purple things on his boots are made from e tape.

His cloak is a cut Lego cape.

The Lloyd's building (sometimes known as the Inside-Out Building) is a fine example of radical Bowellism architecture in which the services for the building are located on the exterior to maximise space internally.

The building was completed in 1986 and received a Grade I listing in 2011 being the youngest structure ever to obtain this status. It is said by Historic England to be "universally recognised as one of the key buildings of the modern epoch".

It certainly has an alien look in my opinion and hence the title I have chosen for this shot.

Prometheus is said to be the best-known sculpture in Rockefeller Center and the most photographed monumental sculpture in all of NYC. Created by famed American sculptor Paul Manship, who held a great fascination for mythological subjects and events, it has become the main attraction of the Lower Plaza. It's central theme is best stated by the quote that's carved in the red granite wall behind him, taken from the sixth-century B.C. Greek dramatist Aeschylus: "Prometheus, Teacher in Every Art, Brought the Fire That Hath Proved to Mortals a Means to a Mighty Ends,"

Prometheus, a gilded bronze sculpture by Paul Manship, overlooks the skating rink/plaza area, which opened on Christmas Day 1936.

Or Promethea, as I've done yet another gender-bend. Quite happy with how she turned out. Couldn't find a decent armoured torso, so I used Orcas, which actually works surprisingly well.

Not happy with the picture though. In case you can't see, she has a white cape, one of those damaged looking ones, and one of those old Knights kingdom swords. I wanted to give her silver arms, but I only have one set, with one side having a large crack, so I didn't want the risk splitting the arm.

This is a neat view. What you're seeing here is Prometheus just inside the F ring beyond the bright, hazy limb of #Saturn; light from the F and A rings are being refracted through Saturn's upper atmosphere. (Processed raw #Cassini image from Oct. 8, 2008—tinted greyscale.)
