As punishment for Prometheus' giving the gift of fire to mankind, Zeus condemned him to be imprisoned atop a mountain, where a giant eagle would rip out his liver daily, for all eternity.

Prometheus stole fire from the gods to give it to mankind and his action, which occurred in antithesis to Zeus and is placed at the beginning of humanity, represents the origin of the human existential condition.

The 'PROMETHEUS III' is a heavy mid-range sniper rifle. The bullets have enough force to break through heavy armored mechs and soldiers. The scope is small Maskutov-Newtonian telescope with IR & UV sight.

Prometheus Cave Natural Monument is a karst cave located in Imereti region of Georgia.
The total length of the cave is about 11 km, of which 1060 m are open to visitors.
Cave has total of 22 halls of which six are currently open to tourists.

For anyone who has seen the film Prometheus, part of the Alien franchise, this is where it begins.

My Flickr profile picture was taken about where the girl is standing, sitting on a rock with my feet in the water - quite a moment.
The most wonderful thing about Iceland isn't the scenery, it's about being able to do this. To be able to stand right on the edge without anyone telling you otherwise.
I recently found a trove of images on my hard drive, ones I thought I'd deleted but just hadn't imported into Lightroom.
This was one, heavily edited so don't believe a word, but It's all mine :-)
The Greek God known as Prometheus was famous for being patient and highly intelligent, characteristics shared by the Praying Mantis. This one is the Carolina Praying Mantis to be exact.
Those colorful bokeh balls is the setting sun filtering through some tree branches. I moved around to compose the Mantis inside the most prominent and bright one.

Had to quote prometheus here being as it's filmed almost where I'm stood. One of those that every way you turn there's a fantastic shot, and of all the places I've ever been, I don't think anywhere suits my shooting style better than here. However it's tricky to try and find an angle that nobody lose has gone for a million times before. So I decided to forget the old man and the needle, and see if there was anything I could use around the back, and this is almost the last shot I took before we headed down. Wasn't sure about it on camera, it was really the product of the 'just stick the lens at 11 and roll with it', and by more luck than judgment it worked!

I couldn't resist in playing around with this tunnel and this was the result, another to add to my 'Conceptional Fabrication' photo series, it is good fun.
I have done two versions of this, one in this monochrome feel and the other in a colour feel. Personally I prefer this one as it gives it a more sci-fi futuristic feel to the image but I might upload the other later on and let you see which you all prefer.
This is one tunnel I plan to revisit next time I am down in London which will hopefully be Open House London. As always I can't wait for it and look forward to seeing what the Open House team have in store as the main events!
I am planning on doing a blog post maybe next month of some of the places I have visited in the last 5 Open Houses that I have done to help those make decisions on where to visit and photograph.
