Knives - Experimental night for 365 today, so not perfect in anyway, but it gives me something to work at in the future as I progress through my project.

While taking a shot of a food vendor at Park Street in the Boston Common, this group flew right above me and beside me. I had the manual focus on. So when I just snapped away, all the pics came out blurry. Fortunately, after they landed, the group decided for a round two. This time I was better prepared. Upped the contrast and saturation. Lowered the brightness.

another style inspired by dave hill and jan gonzales... hope you like it..
A rainbow seen on the floor as I walked up the steps from the station. Caused by the sun hitting the edge of the sliding door at the top of the steps. I'm taking it as a sign of good things to come. (Yes, I increased the colour saturation).

Misleading title, eh? Well, I didn't want the cliche "Rain, rain go away!" line, so I'm putting in my own flavor for your taste buds, you know?!
This photo is pretty much self explanatory. Washington state... Umbrella.... Me.... Kawaii pout face... Yep, it was another groggy rainy day. I, for one, am not a fan of rain. I basically stayed inside all day babysitting and parking my behind on my bed, surfing the interweb.. How am I surviving to live in Washington? I don't. This is my reincarnated being learning to adapt to this weather. Haha just kidding. No, really though. I don't like rain. I'd rather have it be snowing right now so I can go out and make some snow angels. Join me?

I walked down to New World at lunch time to get a few groceries and some fresh air.
Tuesday, 2nd June 2015.
We finally had a day that was only 105F, so I busted open one of my packs of PX680 FF that have been in my refrigerator since they were released.
It's a nice film. Very warm. These were taken with my SX70 and an ND-50 filter.
The Canis latrans ochropus project is well underway. So far the results have not been what I had hoped but the camera traps are working. We placed one a dead doe. This location yielded Turkey Vultures, Common Raccoons. and this hungry Gray Fox. The recent storms here were a big event because I am getting fresh tracks. There will be two bait stations this weekend so I am hoping we bring in some Coyotes...wish us luck

A coastal resiliency project, funded by the Chesapeake and Atlantic Coastal Bays Trust Fund, aims to reduce shoreline erosion on a tidal marsh area located on the west side of the Verrazano Bridge, adjacent to the park’s boat ramp and fishing pier.
The project seeks to construct a series of 10 headland structures to dissipate wave energy created during large coastal storm events. The nature-based structures will consist of boulders, cobble and clean sand, which will then be planted with native wetland vegetation.
