Middle of time frame photo. Sun is at middle point in the sky. Wanted to capture different shadows of the house.

In the image using rule of thirds, I positioned the hand slightly out of the bottom right hand side of the frame to really give it the feel of the subject being an extension of the viewer.

In this image I tried using a human subject. I was interested on capture the image from the point of view of the writer.

The bark on the tree creates an interesting texture and pattern that moves the viewers eye upward. The green moss creates a soft contrast to the sharpness of the bark.
