I used panning to convey the speed of the dog running through the snow. Duchemin said to start facing the direction the subject is heading, then twist into the direction from which they will come, which is what I did. I feel like it conveyed the speed of the dog well, but the subject appears more blurred than I wanted. I adjusted the color balance to make the image appear less warm, as well as darkening the shadows to make the dog stand out from the white snow better.

Trying to catch how a sign can change the feeling of a place. This altered sign gave a very foreboding feeling. I decided to put the lumber yard in the background instead of the actual street.
