Although fascinated with the human body, my favourite part of it to draw/paint is the face and a huge part of that love goes into facial expressions and exaggeration.

 

In my GCSE’s for my final piece I decided to create a painting on the ‘Skull Beneath the Skin’. I wasn’t happy with the outcome of this painting so more recently decided to revisit it and redo it, as I like the concept of it, but not the outcome.

Not the prettiest shot, but I haven't really caught any good daylight in days now! Also, after I took about a million of these progress shots I realized I'd knit the last half-round wrong and had to take it out. Oops. I'm having a blast with this so far, and now that I've got the double knitting yarn-holding technique down I'm totally flying along! I can't wait for my finished cowl. :)

This is Knitty.com's Wavy scarf using some of the newer Cascade 220 Quatro (color 9433). It's a cool yarn and a nifty pattern. I'm enjoying it.
