A random snapshot of maintenance work that's being done up on the water tower on the south side of Industrial Park Road next to AITX, formerly American Railcar Industries repair shop in Brookhaven, MS. (December 6, 2024)

I'm not very sure what exact type of work they are doing to this water tower. It's more likely they're doing a thorough check and maintenance to the structure as well as possibly repainting it, only time would tell.

Yes, this photo was taken from the backseat as Dad was driving and Nana was sitting in the front passenger seat.

I'm partway through coloring and cleaning the image for one of many printable stationary sets and paper goods I'll have for sale soon in my Etsy shop!

19 Sept 08. The weather started closing in. No rain but we've not been able to progress much further than this because of gale force winds. And it's icy cold! I'm blaming Cape Town and the snow on Table Mountain. Most unseasonal. hrmph.

Work in Progress photos of my 'Boxed In' Quilt inspired by Jason Yenter

Our skyline is dominated by two cranes right now as a new building is being built. I can't wait for these monsters to come down, they are necessary but a real blot on the landscape. Being constructed is Castle Quay, more on that another day.

While quilting the wall hanging I made for my mom (uh...gave her the blocks ~3 years ago because I hadn't finished yet, and now I've finally completed it!).

Work in progress of wood inlay.

Remember I showed you the nispero fruit on my tree which at the time were green. Well now they are almost ripe and ready to eat; I can't wait! As a bonus, I found another bunch of fruit further up the tree.

Progress we have made so far. I'm trying something different for my flower bed this year. Instead of planting annuals, I planted Wintergreen Boxwood and Variegated Asian Sweet Flag. I am going to put a little Jizo statue in the middle and a Japanese lantern in the corner. I am just waiting for them to arrive now :)
