Progress on the colorwork mittens, and a more accurate representation of color. Its still a little off.

Pattern is Ruba'iyat Mittens from Heather Desserud. Yarn is O-Wool 2-ply in willow and rust.

Finally got drop bars on this thing.

Each page goes through its own edits until it can be walled. Some will have one or two minor edits, but in some cases edits require rearrangement of entire pages. But it is all part of the process to produce the best paper for the Wake Forest community.

In progress.......awaiting leaves of black tulle. Shown with black blooms for another project I have in mind.

sanded, boggled, gaze corrected,eyes nose philtrum & mouth carved, light makeup. just got to pop scalp on-not sure if it will always be her hair. Once the pink is done she may get that!

(Chick #1 was 47 days old on 6/25.)

The osprey chicks didn't do anything exciting during my latest visit, so here's a shot of normal nest life for today.

only had enough material to make just ONE clutch in this textile. It has a silk lining, two vintage buttons, and elastic as a closure. it needs to be pressed, hence the work in progress title of the album.
