Progress pictures of Chuck and Jeremy building our back yard shed. Last piece before painting... the garage door!
The installation of the stone wall in the entry started today and is grueling work for John my contractor. The corners are artfully cut to look as natural as possible. From now on he has to figure out how to wrap the corner pieces on the opening in the wall. Yesterday John and his father Dennis were actually hand chilising stone slabs in my living space to create the sill on the opening in the entry wall. Also today I went to Crate & Barrel and Ethan Allen to purchase the furniture for the living, dining areas and the den. The estimated completion date is the end of September. Some of the furniture may take 8 to 12 weeks for delivery. I want it to come together as guickly as possible because the project will be entered in a competition for the National Association of Remodelers Industry (NARI), and perhaps a magazine associated with the remodeling industry.

An in progress portrait that I'm working on in my art journal. I just have the base of the piece put down thus far. The facial features are next. Blogged: thecreativeartist-jordan.blogspot.com/2012/06/more-artwor...
