Progress 'S' LH546 in Buckie. Not sure why the name is half painted out on the bow, perhaps this boat has been sold. Paintwork on the stern looks a bit weary too. Built by Mackay's of Arbroath in 1988 as Emma Kathleen.

Sentinel 0-4-0 'Progress' (works number 10283) brings the first portion of the 6M32 Lindsey to Preston bitumen working across the swingbridge on Preston Docks on May 28th 2020. The train is split in the exchange sidings and tripped down to the Total UK plant on Chain Caul Way.
'Progress' was one of a trio of Sentinel diesel shunters supplied new to what was then Preston Corporation in 1968. The other two being 'Energy' and 'Enterprise'
The common english name of Bombus hypnorum is the Tree Bee, it's a recent colonist to the UK from France and has been nicknamed 'Le Bee'. The combination of ginger thorax and black and white halved abdomen are instantly recognisable. The first record in Britain was as recently as 2001 in nearby West Wellow in Hampshire.

darts stitched on front bodice and front skirt waist
darts stitched on back bodice and back skirt waist
front bodice fitted to front skirt matching darts
back bodice fitted to back skirt matching darts
invisible zip fitted matching the waist seam on either side of the zip
front and back shoulder seams stitched together
front and back of dress stitched together
altered the pattern pieces of the back and front facings for the deeper neckline
tomorrow i'll fit the sleeves and neck facings. if i have time i'll stitch the hem

My first brand promos in over a year. I was a little nervous, but since they were all my friends it made it a lot easier. I'm so happy to have the color tone like this in these photos. I've been using black and white kodak film for one whole year and switching to color film was a little weird. But now I'm confident on what to use if I want to shoot color again.
Ex-LMSR 'Jubilee' No. 45699 'Galatea' restarts a charter working from a signal check on the last leg of it's journey into Shrewsbury station. The train is West Coast Railway Company's 1Z49 0552 Cleethorpes - Shrewsbury on 5th October 2013 which operated diesel-hauled to Crewe where 'Galatea' then took over for the remainder of the journey, working via Chester and Wrexham General. Many heads hang out of carriage windows to check progress, as the locomotive approaches the complex point work on the approach to the station. Hi Everyone. Long time! :) I missed you all immensely.
This photo here is symbolic. Quite a lot has been going on here. I've finally finished my engineering exams and only the last sem training is left now. Though I've a few more management entrace examinations to write.
BTW, some good news, I am an "Adobe Certified Expert" now. :) Also, I'm planning to open my corporate communications and creative designing firm with my old friend Vikas Pethiya in a few months so preparations are on for that too.
I hope you'd see more of me in the coming days and that I'd see some of the enthralling work that you guys are producing.
Hope your Christmas celebrations were grand and that you have a very happy new year too.
