I have most of the accessories for the 1/24th DIY tea room kit done. It's been a challenge! I'm struggling with the bakery counter now : ) With a few exceptions, all of this has to be assembled.
Encouraged by the arrival of the Terns (Previous photo), I set off for a walk along the path that hugs the edge of the Manawatu River's estuary - hoping that the birds were returning as the tide dropped rapidly...
It didn't take long before I stumbled across these three Pied Stilts...

one side planted up - slowly but surely getting there. Good to get a bed filled and then plant out stuff in it before filling the next bed.

Terrance is really tired. He can't remember how long he's been flying, but, he knows he's really hungry and thirsty. He thought it wouldn't be any problem flying to the other side of the photo, but, he just doesn't seem to be making any progress. It kind of made him think he was fighting against the government, not air.

I just thought I'd bring you up to date on my Warlock helmet. I put the first patch of Bondo body filler on the helmet. I'll be covering the entire helmet in the days to come, but for now just the back has some on it.
Also, this is my first time working with a toxic material, so I got to buy myself a respirator! :D I get really excited about things like that. But I think it just makes my family worry about me. :P
I think that's all for now, the next update will probably be the complete Bondo covering, sand and primed. So.... I guess talk to you then. TTYL!

So I've made a lot of progress on Deadpool. I will probaly finish him in the next day or two. As you can see his head is a little big. I decided I cut away all of the procreate and just repaint the head, this happened literally 5 minutes from when this was uploaded. Tell me what you think! Comments more appreciated than faves!

Après le bombardement et l'incendie de 1695 qui la détruit presque entièrement, la place est reconstruite en quelques années, plus belle qu'avant.
Au cours des deux siècles suivants, la place aura à subir d'importantes dégradations. À la fin du XVIIIe siècle les sans-culotte détruisent une bonne partie des symboles et statues de l'ancien Régime. Par la suite les bâtiments seront victimes de transformations et de rénovations malheureuses, façades stuquée et blanchies, décorations supprimées, ainsi que de la pollution. Sous l'impulsion du bourgmestre Charles Buls, l'ensemble sera progressivement restauré ou reconstruit, grâce au plans et représentation de l'époque de la reconstruction.

Progress on interior. All the wallpaper is done except for a really cute cupcake border I need to add to the bakery (lower left room), but I need to do ceiling trim first. The flooring paper isn't glued in yet. Next will be window and door trim, ceiling trim, etc.
I'm going to back off from my projects for a couple weeks because my sister is coming!! We are planning a couple of "craft days" though : ) : )
the young lady walks past, almost certainly oblivious to the fact that the building to her right was for over 200 years, between 1793 until 2013 "the devonshire arms" until jamie oliver came along, turned it into an over-priced restaurant and slapped his name all over it. that's progress folks.
AP - A blockage caused progress to be stopped on the tracks yesterday. A stop sign was knocked over, likely the result of a vehicle collision. Damage was minimal to the sign post, and crews were in later that day to hoist the stop sign back into place. The mirror is expected to make a full recovery.
The only witness, a local warehouse that was sitting nearby at the time, declined to speak to reporters. Officials suspect driver error while backing out of the parking lot bordering the tracks. The investigation is ongoing.

tutte le notizie danno una staticità impressionante e se anche il Vaticano, con la sua proverbiale lungimiranza (hahahaha) si schiera contro l'omosessualità e non firma nemmeno il documento a favore della convenzione Onu sui diritti delle persone con disabilità , "Una contrarietà limitata alla sola questione dell'aborto all'interno di un testo che la Santa Sede, pur non potendo firmarlo, ha contribuito a realizzare.
Ecco l'immobilità del pensiero, ben peggiore a quella fisica.....
La Convenzione, con i suoi 50 articoli, elabora in dettaglio i diritti delle persone con disabilità . Si occupa, tra l'altro, di diritti civili e politici, accessibilità , partecipazione, diritto all'educazione, alla salute, al lavoro e alla protezione sociale. E soprattutto, la Convenzione riconosce che un cambiamento di atteggiamento nella società è indispensabile per consentire alle persone con disabilità di raggiungere la piena eguaglianza.
Immobili in un mondo che sfreccia, che non è piu' controllabile, che è in continuo mutamento e trasformazione.
Spesso ci si sofferma su tutto ciò che non si capisce, ma poi dopo un attenta riflessione si va avanti.....Noi no! no ci fermiamo e nemmeno mettiamo benzina, usciamo dalla macchina e guardiamo gli atri correre, sfrecciare sull'autostrada del progresso e delle riforme sociali.
