This is a toothbrush rug in progress. It's being constructed from old sheets torn into 2" strips. My goal is to make this rug 36" across - I'm currently at 16"

Back end nearly finished. The new fibreglass rear dome has been fitted after being trimmed to suit, sworn at and thumped. A replacement piece of lip section had to be made (on top of dome, next to heater box) then the rivets finished it off.

Saturday afternoon was spent tearing out the 12' 2x10's and getting all the insulation off the north facing wall. I'd take a wild guess there was about 30 years of critter activity in those walls... Had to suit up for deep sea diving for that job. What a mess. When I wired up the shop, I decided to have all wiring accessible by not putting it in the walls. What a great decision. Not just for future tie in's, but I found so many spots that critters had chewed through and were otherwise scorched. What a fire hazard. Not anymore!

This is a model of a Pelletier Bros. logging truck from the show "American Loggers"......

Packed up and ready for transport!

So my semester is balls-out crazy and I don't have much time to paint anything. But I've gotten the frame done and I'm about ready to move on to the armor.

Maybe it's just the number of parts that have had to be painted multiple times to get multiple colors, but this kit feels extra part-y compared to its MkII brother kit.

Incidentally, I used Tamiya acrylics for the red parts and got a godly-shiny and smooth finish. Why does this never happen when I WANT glossy?

Remember the scared Siamese from yesterday! Here she is! Kerry (director of Rikki's) holding Sarah, the poor terrified kitty who came in this morning. Had gotten thru an access panel in a closet and into a rafter area that was very small, only 18" at the high point .... Kerry had been trying to talk the folks who'd recently gotten this kitty from a very bad situation thru helping her to be friendly. That was the last straw and the folks were distraught. Kerry went to their house last night and set a trap near the access port and thank god Sarah went in and mom went and got her this morning. She's going to be fine and soon she should be adoptable. She's a lovely young healthy gal.

The stars aligned and I moved past the two places that were confusing me. I did shred one thread doing the first sewing. I'll fix that later.

I started getting into fitness around April of 2012, then I started training to compete Muay Thai, boxing and mma about 5 months ago. These pictures are the progress I've made. I've def had some slip ups with my diet but every day is a new one and I never give up.
